I've been a big hater of your team this entire season. I eagerly waited for any opponent to beat them so I'd no longer have to hear talk about them going undefeated. Now the Patriots have beaten my team twice and I have to give it up to them. They are by far the best team in the league and quite possibly the best team to ever play the game. But, hopefully in the future your team leaves some opportunities for other teams to win championships; incase you didn't notice, SD has none. Anyways, good luck to your team in the Superbowl; win another for the AFC.

i commend your B@lls to come back and eat crow.

dont worry, your team will be competitive for awhile...and it could be worse...you could be the Raiders

Thanks. Hopefully the Patriots win the Superbowl so we won't have to hear anymore talk about the 72 Dolphins.

Thanks.................. No matter how much smack we might have talk. Down the stretch (before injuries set in), you guys were gonna be a pretty dangerous opponent for anyone you faced. Had you been healthy last night, the outcome may have been different. You don't seem to be going anywhere soon either.

Thanks. I'm glad the Chargers got to the AFC championship game and faced the toughest opponent in the league. That's valuable experience which will pay off in the years to come.

damn -- I have to give it up for these bolts fans.
I'll just have to find myself another most hated team.

look fwd to next year's game --- should be awesome.

I'm not busting on you but if your team followed the Pats model (which I'm still suprised that more teams aren't doing) they'd probably be met with more success. Rivers is one tough SOB but needs to shut out distractions and keep his emotions in check.

L "Mr. Classy" T needs to eat some humble pie. His personality smacks of someone who is so physically tallented that he never had to really work for anything.

I used to like the Chargers before LT started accusing other teams about being classless. It'll be a while before I can cheer for them again.

Yea we basically have the same exact team coming back next year. Only thing we really need to upgrade is saftey and maybe 1 linebacker.

We'll see how we match up again next year when you guys come visit us again :)

No clue what you are talking about. You do not need to eat crow. You played flat out great.

i feel exactly the same way. And i think a lot other people do too.

Chargers are a great team and every Charger fan that reads this should know that without question.

The Chargers have some of the best drafts year in and year out that ive ever seen.

Thanks. I hope we follow that model as well; playing together as a team and staying humble. In the first 5 seasons of LT's career, he didn't talk much to the media because they didn't talk about him much. But, last year because of him breaking the rushing TD record, he was talked about all the time and I think it inflated his ego somewhat. That, and also the fact that he feels he's getting older and there are not many opportunities for him to win a Superbowl, so his frustration is showing. Hopefully he'll return to the way he was before and keep quiet for the most part. The Chargers are a team that is full of talent but they need to keep their egos in check until they actually win a Superbowl or two.

You guys played great. I don't think we would have won, if you had a healthy LT and Rivers and Brady was hobbling with Moss on the bench.

As I look at next years schedule by far the two toughest game on it are Bolts and Colts.

This year the Bolts crew has been far better than last year's crop. Kudos to all you Charger fans who can look at it that way... and yeah, you guys are amazing at the draft. I'm not sure you're dead in the water without LT anymore, a situation you'll eventually face. Now you've got a legit passing game too, and Rivers might not be Brady, but nobody can deny he has heart.

I know, I'm surprised too. For as big a bunch of punks as Chargers fans tend to be prior to the game, they're at least pretty classy after the fact. Classier than their RB, for sure.

Nice post lightningbolt.

Thought this thread from a Chargers board was pretty funny (no connection or reflection of the OP)

One of my favorite things about being a Pats fan this year is that I honestly think that I've become a better person for it. This team has taught me some major life lessons, such as that people will ALWAYS twist what you do to fit their agenda, so **** em. Do what you're going to do, and don't feel bad about it, or worry if people take it the wrong way. As long as you're staying true to your own standards (whatever they may be), screw anyone else's demands for 'classiness'.
