Thanks for giving us a season that we will never forget,we are going to the superbowl it just sounds so nice.I know there is still work to do and we get a breather until the big game.I remember how much it hurt last year and the 2 weeks until the Superbowl they kept showing the interception of Brady well yesterday took care of that.I was so happy when Maroney ran for that last first down and what a feeling of relief.Kevin Faulk and Lawrence Marone were clearly MVP's of that game and did you see some of the throws Faulk had to go get..I am so proud of this team and our coach talk about in game adjustments he went to the run and short pass game in the second half which proved to to be the right call.

How appropiate is it after all that has happened with all the distractions and here the Pats go 18-0 and on our way to the superbowl.Tom Brady gets MVP and in Bill we trust gets coach of the year..Thank you Patriots !!!!

Some might think it is still premature
to thank our team for its unrivalled season.

Not me. I find it already above and beyond
any feeling the Patriots could ever bring me.
Sorry to say so ... but the SB seems oddly anti-climactic.

Thanks, not just to the team, but to a peerless sports organization !

That is a good point about being premature,I have total faith that we will win in 2 weeks but even if they didn't win (we all know Brady's record in domes)it would not change how proud I am of this team.I never really understood when players said the AFCCG is the hardest part of the journey and not the Superbowl.I learned yesterday what they meant after the Pats won it was like we are there, we are in the Superbowl it was a huge relief.

I remember Curt Schilling during a press conference saying the ALCS was the toughest part of winning a championship and that he felt no pressure in the World series, interesting to say the least.

Amazing...only here does a simple heartfelt thank you thread get no takers for a full ten minutes and then die on the vine. Too busy being armchair critics or smacktalking smartasses, I guess.

After the first cinderella superbowl win I wondered what if anything this team could ever do to top that feeling. Back to back Lombardi's was the response. Couldn't manage the threepeat, and rather than wait for another shot they go into their fourth superbowl in seven years as only the second undefeated team in 35 years.

I wish more here could simply appreciate how blessed we have been as NFL fans...and truly enjoy it instead of constantly trying to nit pick or second guess it. That's why as a fan base I'm not sure we're at all that deserving. But this team absolutely is.

They are the answer to the question what comes after a dynasty if you're truly blessed. And they are that because despite their critics they have it all - the HOF QB, the form to function D, the bluecollar team mentality, the coaching, the management, the the visionary ownership to be consistently excellent for a decade or more in the salary cap era. They don't just talk the talk, they all walk the walk whether it be managing individual egos or accepting accountability for their individual performances.

Sure they rub some people the wrong way, unrivaled success always does. Bill pushes the envelope, but that is because he is singlemindedly focused on wining. And at the end of the day, that is why they do. Unlike so much in the perception driven NFL season, Lombardi's aren't awarded for sound bites or style points or gaudy stats or self proclaimed class. They are awarded for creating and executing winning game plans and relentless teambuilding, or as Bill likes to say - doing your job. Nobody in this decade at least does it better.
