The reason a lot of people didn't respond to the sarcasm is it was BAD sarcasm. Good sarcasm hits the mark, comments upon something that is true, and is funny. This didn't.

It came off as whining about how little respect this team gets... which is ridiculous considering how much praise is heaped upon it.

the Pats play 60 full minutes,,,, this has been illustrated all through the season. diminate the second half of jax game and giant game.

I swear people stop watching at halftime. This is about the 8th straight game we've dominated the second half.

Not a stat, but some teams hang participation banners in their stadium after they are dominated by the Pats in the playoffs.

Since midseason we've been outplayed every game except Pittsburgh.

I have always said that the best sports teams are the ones that can play poorly and still find a way to win. The Pats are the masters of this as Tiger Woods is also for an individually played sport.

In my defense: If you put a flashing neon sign on sarcasm, it doesn't work. It's supposed to be somewhat real.

If you fell for that it's your own fault. Probably didn't read it, but it was there.

We entered the second half up by four touchdowns against the worst team in the league and people were whining because they ran the ball on us.

Is there a pre Super Bowl trading period? C'mon now, give me a break.

It sounds just like one of our classic whiner posts and some got took. I'd rather make a joke than snipe at the whiners one at a time.
