We all know how BB likes to prepare. Being the Giants and all that
preparation work is only weeks old ... he's got a huge head start.
He's got game file of his team playing them only weeks ago.
He knows the match ups. He got so many points to coach on.

I can't help but believe he smiled when it the Giants won.

Also his history with the Giants and the chance to beat them in
the SuperBowl has got to have him drooling. :D

I'm thinking that the sold the farm on the last game of the season. BB has lots of book on them. That could come back to haunt them.

And their coaching staff, still has all the prep material from the last game too.

This is a good point I was thinking myself. When people on here & on the NFL Network were commenting that the Giants have an advantage because they just played the Pats and "know what it takes to beat them" I was thinking, "are you joking?" BB will come out with a completely different game plan exploiting their just-learned weaknesses. It is the Pats who are at a huge advantage here, not the Giants.

GO PATS!!! Superbowl 42 - can you believe the season we've had??!! What a team!!

Remember the Pats didn't even attempt to run that game getting what 44 yards all night?? Now with the 3 TE sets, the Giants can't focus on the pass exclusively.....

Good point! :rocker: :rocker: I'll start to feel confident until the Thursday leading up to the game, then I'll be wreck by Saturday afternoon and I'll finally, my whole body will go numb until kick-off, and then I won't be able to sit down.

Giants DB are piss poor and they rely on the DL/LB pressure to stop teams. Considering neither Neal, Kaczur or Kyle were available for wk 17 matchup, the Pats practically aandoned the run.

Looks for lotsa screens to Lomo/Faulk to counter Giants.

On D, focus to stop the run to prevent Gmen from controlling the clock. Double up top on Plastico (same medicine other teams have been giving Moss), and force Eli to beat us by passing to stone hands Toomer

Dallas and GB both screwed up by playing right into the hands of Giants

I agree - both the Giants and Packers looked both beatable and able to beat the Pats (if they aren't playing to full potential.

All things being equal I prefer to play a team we've played before... Coughlin probably feels the same way frankly... but in this case we also play a QB untested in the Super Bowl... unike with Farve.

and then it will suddenly hit you we''re 19-0 and SB champs, completing a season for the ages which will likely never be matched by any other team.

We're at the doorstep of history and the door is wide open for us. How far this franchise has come from the days of Victor Kiam.

Relax......This is our time, and no team will deny us what is rightfully ours

38-14 Pats - - Take that Mangina and Goddell

Well, I for one was very surprised at what a mismatch the Giants/Packers game was. The Giants absolutely dominated the game, and if they had lost it would have been a loss for the ages. Which of course leads me to think the Packers would have been the better opponent in terms of ease of victory. Having said that, it doesn't really matter either way, does it.

I think just like Brady struggled with the cold, so did Favre. I would be more concerned about GB on a warm, fast track than the Giants.
