This Giants team with 3 road wins and a ton of momentum look a lot like the 86 Pats......we know how that turned out.

oOuch, thanks for the flashback.

We sure were going to "Berry the Bears" that year. I just hope that there is nothing similar to the "Superbowl Shuffle".

Seriously, I think the Giants are a real threat.

I think the Giants are a threat, too, but looking at highlights (or lowlights, depending on your POV) of the NFC game, the Packers had the ball for only 22 minutes, kept a Giants scoring drive alive with penalties, missed two shots at recovering a fumble in regulation, and still had to give up a final pick in order to allow a 47-yard field goal and lose it.

If the Pats' offense is efficient in any way and if their defense avoids dumb penalties, they've got a good shot. Plus, it will be their first warm weather game in weeks, which may help them out.

So, yeah, I was rooting for the Packers because the Pats would have shredded them, but if the Pats play well (not great), they've got a great shot to win.

Stop their run, and double Plastico and watch Eli turn into an avg QB. Plus the "pressure" and "spotlight" will be on him now as the media circus builds

We will have Kaczur, Neal and Kyle back for this game which should neutralize their rush. Giants secondary is banged up a bit

Pats win 38-14......nothing is stopping BB express to perfection, especially with 2 weeks to prepare
