And good game against us... no cheap crap or anything. Refs were fair and weren't a factor. We had a chance against you guys forcing Brady to 3 picks and only 21 points but settling for FG's won't cut it against a team that good. Your team is 1 game away from being the best team in NFL history and I hope you guys truly recognize that. You guys come to SD next year, so we'll see what happens. Until then, good luck from a diehard Charger fan.

Same here. I friggin hate Eli. So I think plenty of Chargers fans will be rooting for you.

I wish we had everyone healthy, but that's football. I don't know wtf to think about LT. Getting tired of his sideline demeanor.

Good Luck!!! Whaddya say next playoffs...our house!!

Thank you, and good luck. Your team is very special and I think that Chargers may have supplanted the Colts for rivals with the Pats in AFC dominance. You've got a lot to be proud of, especially your QB, who did a lot to earn my respect today. Just think, this was your first year with a new coaching staff and you made it to and competed in the AFCCG. I'm sure next year will be a Pats v. Chargers AFC themed event.

Thanks for the nice words.

Just thought i'd come and say that and be classy about it. Alot of Pats fans came to our board with trash last year. I'm not even as dissapointed as last year, last year I thought we were going all the way then this year I didn't think we would make it past you guys and even if we did we would be very banged up for the SB.

But that doesn't matter, so good luck in the SB. Knock the crap out of Eli all day for me

we get just as many trolls here. every week a new group of fans thinks its fun to try and start stuff, or talk like they would be the first to beat us, then never are heard from after their team gets beat. thanks for being polite.

Thanks Charger fan. Your team took a giant leap forward in my opinion. True grit by Rivers, he won himself a ton of respect in his own room and around the league with his performance which is huge for a young QB. Your team grew up a lot this seaon and that will payoff down the road for you.
The one problem you do have is LT. No doubt in my mind he's lost the respect of all his teammates after his chicken little routine 2 weeks in a row. Media around here commented on how Rivers was limping noticably when getting off the team bus, when seen walking in the hotel etc yet he manned up and played. LT was given a clean bill of health via an MRI and he sits 2 weeks in a row. LT is a great talent but he's not a winner. Other than him though your team is young and good and you'll make the big dance one of the years and soon.

yeah i think that may be a story that might develop

“The question has to be asked: How many guys in here would actually go out there and play?” linebacker Matt Wilhelm said. “He understood the repercussions of it but he also understood that if we pulled this out that he was a hero for years and years.”

It nearly happened. Rivers was 19-of-37 for 211 yards and led the Chargers downfield on several occasions, although he was unable to produce a touchdown. He threw two interceptions, one that proved very costly, although that one was more the result of a great play by cornerback Asante Samuel than it was a poor play by Rivers, who was hit as he was throwing.

“Kind of an unfortunate play, really,” Rivers said of that interception. “The second one (by Ellis Hobbs) was just a silly decision on my part.”

Thanks for the kind words and support for XLII.

I always root for the AFC team in the Super Bowl. Especially, the old-AFL guard. Chargers have tremendous talent and just need to tweak thinks a little. Thanks for the support. AFC has won 8/10 after losing 13 in a row.

Thanks guys......... I have to admit. I still can't stand his antics (fan yelling and the like), but I gotta give it up for Rivers. He is one tough SOB. Obviously, Norv didn't have enough confidence in Volek, cuz there were times that he probably would have been more effective in there, particularly around the goal line. Still, you have to respect the grit he showed out there.

LT, for all his talent, is really a disapointment for you guys in a big spot.

Keeping in Prince Philip may not've paid off yesterday, but I think it'll pay off big dividends down the road. That secondary was huge too. Norv may have found a new home. Good luck to you guys until next time. As Will Ferrell said, "Stay classy San Diego" (no, that's not a dig).
