Kelly Washington.

The guy once again has a strong day on special teams. Here's a guy that signs a big deal with a lot the money locked into next years bonus. Pats end up making some "other" moves and it looks like old Kelly is out. Does he whine? Complain? Nope, just makes himself into the best special teams player on the team. Every week he brings it with excitement and passion. I hope he continues his career somwhere as a WR. If not he's certainly found a nitch that will keep him in the NFL for thr next 10 years.

T-E-A-M effort. Every week someone steps up. It's not all about Moss and Brady, as the mediots would lead everyone to believe

He had alot of energy pumping the crowd up too. And at the end he and Maroney made it a point to give some game stuff to kids in the stands. Definitely likeable.

I have grown to really admire Kelly Washington. he is UNBELIEVABLE on ST's. That volleyball play he made today is one of my favorites of the year, but notice that he was in on a few others.

hopefully we can kep him.........doubt it. Likely one of three new WR amigos, Moss-Stall-Wash stays, and most likely t is Moss. If they can manage to keep Stall, that would be a coup

Solid. No doubt. Not to mention that little dance he did tonight.

As any NFL watcher knows, 95% of NFL players screw up that play. I don't see why it's so hard, but players almost always step on the goal line or otherwise botch it. That makes Washington's play all the sweeter.

And what exactly is it that prevents us from keeping Stallworth if we wish?

He did that dance when he was with the Bengals, I think he calls it "the chipmunk".

I can't edit this...but it was the squirrel, not the chipmunk.

He had a great dance going after he blocked the punt against the Jets. It looked like his pants were on fire

let's make him a role model by spelling his name correctly:

KELLEY washington

Even sweeter? He batted that ball on the fly - - BEFORE IT HAD EVEN BOUNCED ONCE! I still can't get over that.

No, I don't want role models. I want good football players to play football.

I want posters who don't confuse football players with role models. These guys are not The Beav no matter how little money they play for in return for other benefits.

I think the thread is about "role model for a football player" not for a boy or girl.

Grow up and stop taking things so literal. The "role Model" refrence is tounge and cheek to highlight the fact that this guy worked his ass off to stay on the team and be a major contributer. A lot of guys in the NFL would have forced his way out of town.
