The only mistake you made was to draw conclusions that projected into the future. I don't think you were wrong in pointing out that his play was lacking "confidence", as Brady put it. To project that this means something that cannot be fixed is the only problem I saw with your posts.
But you stood up like a real man and owned it, anyway.
I don't think Maroney is lacking anything right now. He has the complete game, which is unusual for a young guy. If you want somebody to power it and knock heads, he can do it. If you want that cut back for 20 yards he can do it. He can catch and run. He can return kickoffs. He's a good kid. There is nothing about him that isn't firing right now.
Earlier I thought that Morris was the starter next year but now I'm not sure of that at all. All I know is that the offense is going to be even better with both of them.
