Someone, please, get the stats of run plays and yardage when Maroney ran the ball with 2 or more WR compared to the jumbo formation that was so effective. Maroney is expected to get a good amount of yards when we're respecting the pass and you're in jumbo.

respect pass game? okay. so why do u still respect it with jumbo set? play up. I saw plenty instances when you have Hart or McCree up on at the line. you were getting a lot of pressure we couldnt even go deep so you brought them up

its 11on11 football.

No Defensive Coordinator "respects the pass" when a team is in 3 TE. They knew it was coming and they couldn't stop it. On that final drive, they had short yardage situations, were in heavy sets and the Chargers just got manhandled.

I wouldn't go that far man. lol. Maroney played well but danced a lot in the backfield when in standard offense. The Pats HAD to bring out their jumbo in order to give him some room and once he hit the second level he's hard to bring down. But Faulk was the MVP by FAR. He carried the team on 3rd down and just stabbed us in the heart. GG. See ya next year.

Yeah how was 120 yds on 20 carries staring at the sky, you fraud?
GFY. Lights out.

He wasn't "dancing"...it's Inside Zone, he was picking his spots and hitting the windback. The cutback was killing the Chargers.

The Pats don't run a zone blocking scheme. It was Maroney that made the decision to cut back because it was open. He had 3 really good runs that he cut back and it was wide open. We really played poor contain.

Why would you "respect the pass" against a Jumbo formation?
With each post you prove you know less and less.
I bet you're a God on the Chargers forums.
GFY. Lights out.

lol. Did you read any of this thread at all? I gave him props but he still runs the way he runs. When he crossed the front 7 he is really hard to bring down. It took 3 TE's for him to cross that line. How how was I wrong?

um Patriots switched a zone blocking this year..after they slowly put some parts of it in last year.

he ran your guys over...fought for extra yards..bounced it out..made great cuts. it was a great performance.

Because 6 ypc would imply that he doesn't run "Staring at the sky"

Keep posting - Your lack of football knowledge is comical

1 WR, 3 TE vs. 2 CB's, 2 safeties. You had the bigger blockers. The 34 is our base and we didn't adjust welll against that jumbo.

BTW, are you even denying that you ran jumbo?

You truely are a homer aren't you. Can't even talk football with people like you. it's just pointless and stupid.

He did do very well. I'm not taking that away from him. He was stuffed in the first half but you adjusted very well. I don't think that we planned on the Pats running the jumbo because we had no answer. It was the jumbo that LM got the majority of his yards.

Haha. The Pats DO run a zone blocking scheme these days.

I did. I came in here with what I seen. I never liked his running style but BB took advantage of that running style by running 3 TE's. Even before the game I said that if the hole isn't there he gets stuffed, he can't get the tough yards. If he is provided with a hole he's really hard to bring down. How did this game prove me wrong? In order to give him a good size hole BB brought out the jumbo formation and he torched us. I gurantee we didn't plan for that. He played well but in order to be a top 5 RB he needs to make the runs he made today but in a 1 TE, 1 FB or 2 TE set. He played well, but Faulk was the RB that I leave respecting the most.

Dojo, you have no idea what you're talking about.

1. Yes they do.

2. That was most definitely Zone blocking.

You are dead wrong.

explain. please. I came in here and provided a logical opinion of your player AND gave him praise but you guys jump all over me like I'm saying he sucks. I'm far from saying he sucks. you're the one's saying that he's better than who's widely considered the best RB in the decade and I'm the crazy one huh? Most of you guys are great guys but some of you it's just hard to talk football to.

Well then your coaching is bad.

The 2 TE set is the best formation to run Zone.

You can't recognize Zone when you see it?

We play the Broncos twice a year and it's a different scheme than the Broncos have then. It looked like they run it man up, then collapsed the edge and let LM chose where he wants to run, but zone is a little bit different than that. Zone blocking is where the olinemen just ride the DLinemen where ever they want to go. Your oline was pushing us back,
