CBS now. It looks very good. Lots of intimate sideline footage and that kind of thing. NFL-network like production quality in game coverage.

Yeah it's just like the "America's Game DVD. Even have Selleck narrating.

I'm glad they pointed out that horrible officiating on the holding call. Even NFLs head of officiating said he thought the call sucked (though he didn't say it in those words, he said, he thought there was holding on that play, but it wasn't as clear with number 32).

I bet behind the scenes, the ref who made that call was torn a new one.

THey don't make any money being refs really. Less than 50k. How many of them have shaved points?

I thought they said the official who lost a game check a few weeks ago lost 8K. that works out to 128K a year plus whatever they make for preseason and postseason. And he wasn't even the head offical.

So they do seem to make good money. And they all have other jobs. So most likely only greed, not financial pressure, would make a ref pull a Donaghy

Says who? I believe they make $8,000 a game or more. That's over $120,000 a year for a part-time job.

Good program to pass the time.

At $120K a year that would be my full time job :)

You know. I wish I was a freakin' ref.

Boy I know I seen some of the Belichick miked bits, but the game against the Giants was classic... Cassel go out there and get me that ball... I love this team....

Wow...Bill was pretty pissed at the D for the first half last week.

Holy crap that was pretty amazing. I've never seen Belichick like that. He was furious and screaming at the defense. I've heard that Belichick can go ape **** but I've never actually seen him do it.

Wow there are some great quotes and moments on ESPN of the Pats-Jags game.

BB "Everyone just do your job... for once"

(Hey it worked!)

Announcer, "And Tom Brady just... won't... quit!"

(Gave me chills.)

We talked about this all week. Everybody, do your job! OK? You stay on your man in man-to-man coverage.... You do your job! That's what's the problem right here. All right? Take care of your responsibility and just do it right... for once! -- Bill Belichick, 1-12-08

Belichick would be shouted down on this board, probably, for calling out our defense.

"Facing all comers is a champion's duty, whipping them, is a champions pleasure." :rocker:

"Teams don't stop the Patriots, they just try to keep up. Noone has so far."

Oh that was a beautiful piece of work! Wow.

"Work still remains. Before the Patriots can claim perfection, they must claim the AFC."

Now I'm really pumped for the game!!

Unless the Pats are up by 50 at the half bill is pretty pissed.

No, they looked like crap in that game until they started getting their act together. The fact is that they can't start this game today like they did last week. SD can burn us much more than Jax if our defense doesn't get its head out of its ass from the beginning.

If I was a ref the Colts fans would be pissed that all the calls go the Patriots way. And they'd be right. :D

I've heard the "do you job!" screamed in anger from BB but, that was the first time I heard him end it with "for once". Ouch.

No, because Belichick actually knows what he's talking about...unlike a bunch of message board idiots.

"We're in a street fight!, Its a street fight!!"

love it..:)
