FYI - Got this from the Bolts website, they have invaded the two "cheers bars" in Boston.

I guess they like really expensive beer.

Looks like they're hitting all the tourist traps :D

And they went there why? To bother other out of state tourists? I don't get it.

Link please?

Perfect place for them to go so Patriots fans won't be bothered. I can see it now: "Hey! This doesn't look anything like it does on the TV show!"

I have yet to hear of an actual Bostonian going to the Cheers bar. Dead serious. Every out of towner I know has been.

Say I if you've never been to Cheers in your life.

I. This is so fitting of a bunch of San Diegans that I couldn't pick a better bar for them to 'invade'. Meanwhile, a ton of Pats fans out here in SoCal are taking over Fox Sports Grill in Irvine at the Spectrum. Chargers fans do go here, so it'll be fun to outnumber them in their own place.

How does a bar based on a crappy TV show that hasn't been on in 20 years stay in business?

Tourists. The place is packed with Charger fans today. Boston has a good number of tourists and conventions and going to cheers is on everyones, "must see list"

This is very true. Seems like any time (before I was married) and brought a chick up there they HAD to go to Cheers. So damn lame but the :explative after wasn't. :wha:

The customers are idiot tourists who do not understand the best beer comes from the places where everyone wishes nobody knew their name.

The last time I was in the "Cheers bar", it was called the Bull Finch Pub and you had to know it was the Cheers bar to find it. :)

As an NU grad and a grad of Tufts Chinatown campus, I can name about 500 bars in Boston I would rather go to than Cheers. I would rather go to Punters on Huntington Ave or the Tam in the Theatre district at least th ebeers are cheep!

What a bunch of tools they are over there. They are bragging about how they "overran" a bar in Boston that no one goes to and when someone calls them out on it they "oh it doesn't have Bostonians in it? good" then about 10 Super Chargers fans make the same lame azz joke using slightly different words and they all laugh their tits off. I really can't wait until they lose and we don't have to think about that fan base for a while.

I was just at Cheers last week. My friends didn't want to bother with Quincy Market... I don't drink, so I don't care about beer prices, but the Burgers are good. Expensive, but decent.
