What a wonderful game this was, Rosie just picked off Rivers.

Tune in !

I miss Colvin. . .

Man! Does Week 2 feel like it was two or three seasons ago, or what?

Oh yeah, that's why it's a trip watching everything.

One thing that just kind of bothered me is watching Stephen shank that kick, that's something that reminds me of the Jaguars game. Perfect snap, perfect hold, shanks 41yder, and the 35yder against Jags. Hopefully there's no need to settle for field goals tomorrow, but I really want him to deliver. Especially at very manageable distances.

I forgot. It was this game that made me go ahead and order my Welker jersey.
It saddened my Bruschi jersey a little. But they became friends later.

I'm sick of all the spy gate talk, Al! Talk about the damn game.

You know, watching the Chargers playoff game from last year on NFLN last night (I tivoed it from earlier in the week), I also couldn't help but notice that he didn't exactly make the 35 yard game winner right down the middle. He pushed it, but it was close enough that it made it through by a yard or two.

Can't believe we won that game. Great game. If the Chargers had triple covered Gaffney in the 4th quarter, we might have been in trouble. I forgot how money he was.

Our defense played well that game -- if they can play that well again this week we should be in good shape. No Colvin this year, but a healthy Rodney and the addition of AD. Should be about a wash.

Madden said he was amazed how calm Tom Brady was in the pocket...and then Al Michaels actually said "Manning Like". Are you freaking kidding me? Manning wishes he was "Brady Like".

I really hope we don't miss Colvin too much tomorrow, he owned the Chargers all game.

Caldwell was pretty money as well in that game... Maybe more so than Gaff. Amazing what Brady did with second rate receivers.

Colvin was a monster in this game. I am a bit worried about NOT having the same outside rush...

What a difference a year makes. That's what I was thinkin'. Neither team is the same. That game was tooooo close for comfort til the end. Great Saturday entertainment!!! (That is.. until they showed (for the zillionth time) the LT -- "they got no class" clip. I'm SOOO done with THAT!

OY!

My two thoughts from having watched this game:

1. Its hard to believe, but the offense is so much better now then it was back then. Everything from the protection, to the routes, to Brady's accuracy. I remember thinking how good they looked back then, but really they are even better now.

2. Colvin was a beast in that game, but so was AD. AD was in the backfield for a few plays and putting on some good pressure. Losing Colvin hurts but also don't forget that we had neither Seymour nor Rodney for that game. If Gates is limited or out, then I think this defense has a good chance of being dominant in this game.

I watched the 1st half, Rivers threw almost everything to Hobbs side, Hobbs did have one play where he almost intercepted the ball on the long pass to jackson, it was a great play, however he was beaten on the route and it was very close to a td. I look for the same thing, when the bolts go downfield, throw to Hobbs side. Hopefully Hobbs will give the pats a great game, much like he did against the colts last year in the AFC championship game.

Watching the game then having Andrea Kramer braking a "news" story about the Jets report the patriots on some garbage radio signal thing. You got to love it when they just burst out with a story with checking facts and reporting it like the Patriots are screwed again. What a joke that was and that whole week for that matter.

I loved how in the beginning Madden boasted that LT was more confident than any player he had ever seen. NBC really wanted to go with the angle "The Chargers go for revenge against the cheating Patriots!"

Which made the blowout all the more satisifying.
