Sorry didn't post the story-saw it on another MB, but apparently, you have to PAY to get access to this darn site.

Anyhow-surprising especially considering that Reid prefers high character, team guys AND has gone through this ****e already with another "low character" receiver a couple of years ago. Maybe Reid is trying to cater to his franchise player/adopted son?

Marving Lewis keeps reiterating that there will be no trade involving Chad Johnson

I hope for Donovan's sake that he isn't Reid's adopted son. He'll end up strung out with a bag of dope up his ass in no time.

I'd take CJ...

Why in tarnations would CJ think that the Eagals are a superbowl team????

I wouldn't complain about ocho cinco opposite moss w/welker in the slot.

You might just possibly start hearing about the ball not getting thrown someone's (not 83) way enough with that group. Just might, mind you, who knows. It is the Patriots, but these are wide receivers you know.

I doubt it.

people were talking a lot of smack about moss, too --- how much complaining has he done after the jax game?
those 2 dudes want to win.
granted, if they were 3 and 8 there might be some *****ing, but I don't really see that happening.

not that I actually expect the pats to grab johnson........

I like CJ, he defianlty has fun out there but something tells me you get him, you get the whole package, no way he changes and stops doing his look at me when I score, maybe I am wrong but I just dont see that part of his game going away. I do enjoy some of his antics, just not in a Patriots uni.

Chad Johnson is not Terrell Owens. Owens is a selfish headcase, Johnson's a guy who dances. Even Belichick would tell you Chad Johnson is a good guy.

And a healthy Donovan McNabb with Chad Johnson would make that offense really, really good; probably better than their offense in '04.

The Eagles are just a few players away from being a Super Bowl contending team, Chad Johnson would be one of those players.

Wait a minute. CJ's not a free agent, and the Bengals have said they aren't interested in trading him. That means he's not allowed to talk trades with other teams, as the Bengals would have to grant permission first.

NO ONE is going to trade us a top-notch WR, why would they? Also, it would likely take a #1 pick, and why would WE do that? We're fine on offense. We're going to need to rebuild the D through FA and, more importantly, the draft. No way would Belioli be that reckless. And I am a HUUUGE Ocho Cinco fan.

I'm amused by Chad, but unlike Randy who I wanted sooo badly on this team, I'd pass on CJ. I know BB likes him, he just seems way too into himself, and I think there is a limit to how much a person can change for the good of the team.
