Heck, that looks balmy compared to what the forecast was earlier in the week.

The stars seem to be aligning. SD players hurt, weather improving....
25 degrees with a 12 MPH wind that makes it feel like 14 degrees at kick-off time doesn't make me giddy with joy.

But compared with 16 degrees with 22 MPH its better no? Are there any glass half full people on here at ALL????? Good lord.

It should compared to 15 degrees with a 25 MPH wind. Also, there should be a good amount of sun (1st half anyway). Big difference between 25 and sunny and 25 and overcast.

The weather seems just bad enough to affect SoCal folks nursing injuries, but not bad enough to affect the healthy locals. What's not to like?

Does anyone remember what the wind speed was for the Baltimore game? How much will winds of 10-13 mph affect the passing in this weekends game compared to the Baltimore game?

Don't go by the Nation Weather Service. Always, always tune in to what the local forecast is.

Charlie Weiss was on Mike & Mike this morning and said 22 mph winds would not affect Brady AT ALL...he said that about as infatically as he could. He said when the winds gusts up to 40 mph, then you have a situation.

In Baltimore, there were gusts up to 35-45. That is what killed the passing game. It was not a steady wind, they were gusts of wind, which according to Weiss is worse for the offense and the QB to gage on the velocity of the ball. However, Weiss felt confidence Brady could handle whatever weather he was facing. Ummmm, wonder why so confident ;)

A steady 15-20 mph winds with gusts much higher. It was cold. But M&T is enclosed which causes a swirling wind and even then the wind effected only affected a handfull of passes and kicks, but didn't distrupt the passing game as much as some like to believe.

The winds that day were 20-30 mph with 50 mph gusts. It was not comfortable standing there for the entire game.

I'm a little confused here... we're supposed to be hoping for warmer weather exactly why?

To show our hospitality for our friends from San Diego to make the game easier on them?

I dont care bout the temp, what I do care about is how strong the wind will be just like almost every other person on this board im hoping the wind isnt bad so we could see Brady carve up SD ... so calm down

Didn't he carve up Jacksonville?

And exactly how many deep balls did he throw?

So calm down....the wind won't be a factor.

I agree about the wind.. but it'd have to be as bad as the Baltimore game to put a crimp in Brady's game... he has enough zip on his passes to get through 12 mph gusts

ya I agree I was just happier that it seems like the wind was going to die down some, 12mph winds are better then 25 thats what I was getting at....
