Go Pats!

Face it, Volek had one (1) good drive last week..that is all. When's he played this year, the little he did play, it was all "deer caught in the headlights"... The PATS have to feel good, KNOWING that Volek will be handing off much more, and when the PATS keep scoring, the Chargers are going to have to rely on VOLEK to PRESS when he throws, thus panicking at the PATS onslaught of pressure and sacks.. Yeah, Volek will make a few good throws, etc..but come crunch time, when he looks to the right, BAM!, the PATS will get him and the victory...

p.s. even if Rivers plays, he is only 2 tackles from being back on the sidelines...hurry him up move him sideways, land on him, and he's out... next, LT, he likes to run to the sidelines, since he is made of glass too!...when you tackle LT, simply land on his legs, just land there, and he's out also... Turner is NOT even close to being as good as Maurice Jones Drew or Fred Taylor, so the PATs can shut down "Baby-GAP Sproles" and Chunky Turner...

No need to intentionally injure LT. Let's hope for a good, clean game.

He's already injured, and I know what you mean..just saying when they stop LT's run, or tackle him from behind, it's not the PATS fault for landing on his knees, or going for his legs.... :D :singing: :rocker:

chunky turner?

wait--your that clown that loves Sister Act 2

okay...all makes sense now...

Dumb thread.

Move on folks, there's nothing to see here...

Yeah, "Chunky Turner" and is what they're calling him here locally in San Diego, since he's "chunky", LOL and the new nickname for DARREN SPROLES here is "Baby-Gap", since he's so tiny and small, and folks say he's so small, and when he goes to the department stores, they store clerks tell him, "Oh, sorry man, this 'aint no Baby-Gap"... Hahaahaha!

and I like Whoopie Goldberg..so? :rocker:

Come on! Talking about injuring a player is really dumb.

How can anyone be a real football fan and advocate injuring a player? It's totally beyond my comprehension.

The PATS are hungry! You don't think Belichick KNOWS about the Chargers two stars' weakest parts of their bodies are? where they are MOST vulnerable??? LT needs his legs, and so does Rivers... I never said Injure them, or chop-block them.....NO! I said 1-2 tackles, is all it takes...clean tackles, any tackles... that's it... they're done... just fair play, tackle LT and Rivers, and they're done... :rocker:

Of course, that is how football is played
when it's for all the marbles.

But fans don't have to fantasize about it.
We've got similar vulnerabilities of our own.

Here's to thumping the Chargers
as close to full strength as they can get !

This is what you posted:

That sure does sound as if you are advocating deliberately "landing on their legs". Now if they or any other player are injured by a good legal hit during the coarse of the game, that's football.

But, if the Patriot players are deliberately "just landing there" with the intent to injure, what the hell do you think the Charger players are going to do?

I don't know who taught you the game,if you played. But, none of my coaches ever advocated injuring and I never advocated that when I coached.

Please tell me, that if the "word" on the streets was that LT's ribs were brusied or hurt... that teams and players are NOT, NOT, going to tackle him there on on those ribs on purpose, so as to not injure LT??? That is the 1st place they're looking for...

Also, Castillo? Last week he got hit HARD in the back/ribs part from the Colts game... He is STILL sore...I'm sure the PATS players are going to hit im in the same spot, clean hit, mind you..of course I want a fair game...but if the PATS smell blood, which they alreay do, with three (3) wounded birds...LT GATES and RIVERS, and they play? They know the risks of good clean football, especially if it means the Chargers are in the PATS way to a 4th Super Bowl... that was what I meant... :rocker: so, yes play clean, but there are vulnerabilities in place is all....

Not even close?

Turner AVERAGES 5.5 yards a carry FOR HIS CAREER.

Turner and Sproles can play. I'm glad the coaches aren't as overconfident as some on this board.

Exactly. This game may not be what the national press or the networks wanted, but San Diego wanted it. New England might be the best team ever and this game will be fun to watch no matter who is playing in it.

I am a Charger fan, but I am realistic. It may take three more Cromartie picks or two more Sproles kick returns to keep it close.

But I do have faith that both teams will be knocking heads for four quarters no matter what the score.
