Just said this on his satellite radio show the Afternoon Blitz, co-hosted with Solomon Wilcotts, and Jim Miller. He writes a column for Fox Sports NY as well.

He is drinking the SD koolaid all week long, I can't believe that he honestly believes what he's saying.

Not that bad to predict Brady will have 2 Ints. Its actually an ok prediction. Chargers might try and shut down the Run and Brady might just throw a ton.

Well, to generate discussion, of course.

I just thought it was a rather odd declaration for a respected analyst to make, he's not someone like the TV guys who just fade the popular pick to look smarter, he really believes Brady will turn the ball over at least twice and I found that pretty surprising.

Did he actually pick an outright Chargers victory?

But Brady's thrown a ton all year, and has only thrown 2 picks in 2 of 17 games all year.

Sounds like more anti-Patriot garbage from Mr. Schein.

Re: Adam Schein : "Brady Will Turn The Ball Over AT LEAST Twice"

As long as we force two or three of our own........we will be fine.

Ball security, as always, is the key to winning football games.

Skill players.....DO YOUR JOBS and hang onto the damn ball, please.....

No, he said he couldn't pull the trigger on an upset special, but that he felt his prediction of Brady turning it over a couple of times would serve as such. If he does turn it over, it's not going to be twice. That's just my opinion. Maybe a receiver gets outplayed on a ball or something, but even those match ups I don't feel favor SD.

Re: Adam Schein : "Brady Will Turn The Ball Over AT LEAST Twice"

this doesn't really piss me off. the Chargers do a really good job of forcing turnovers, and none of Brady's interceptions are ever crippling to us... unlike the interceptions thrown by coughDrewcoughBledsoecough.

Must be due to Brady's last game where he blew those two passes, that and the horrendous year he's having.

I'd actually feel better if MORE prognosticators started picking the Chargers to win. We all know how the "us against the world" mentality can fire up a team. At least last week a few people were hopping on the Jaguars Blueprint to beat the Pats bandwagon.

Yeah I know, and the careless way he strolls around NYC with his beautiful supermodel famous girlfriend. Better off having went to Mexico to focus.

Re: Adam Schein : "Brady Will Turn The Ball Over AT LEAST Twice"

You sure he didn't say two incompletions?

Re: Adam Schein : "Brady Will Turn The Ball Over AT LEAST Twice"

I have to thank Chargers fans for educating me. I now know that Antonio Cromartie will intercept every single Brady pass attempt.

Re: Adam Schein : "Brady Will Turn The Ball Over AT LEAST Twice"

my brother's buddy's second cousin said that Brady will have at least two turnovers as well, so it must be true.

Schein is influenced by those who are friendly with the show. Chargers LB Shaun Phillips has a weekly spot, usually Tuesdays, with the Afternoon Blitz.

Re: Adam Schein : "Brady Will Turn The Ball Over AT LEAST Twice"

As long as they fumble it back over on a forth down play and the Pats recover, then I'm fine with it.

Re: Adam Schein : "Brady Will Turn The Ball Over AT LEAST Twice"

This is more of the same crap "prognosticating" that has really pissed me off the last couple of weeks. Schein's guarantee is stupid because he is basing it off of one side of the equation (the Chargers get a lot of turnovers) without looking at what the Patriots do. Tom Brady has thrown eight interceptions and fumbled the ball six times, or a total of 14 "turnovers" (two fumbles were not recovered by the opposition) ALL YEAR. IN SEVENTEEN GAMES! That's fewer than one per game, and Schein "knows" Brady will more than double that in one game?

The same goes for giveaway/takeaway debate that that douche Rob somethin'-or-other on first and 10 this morning used to predict the Chargers would win. Yes, the Chargers led the league in takeaways but the Patriots led the league in giveaways (one is more impressive to me, can you figure out which one?). It is stupid to assume that the team that takes the best care of the ball in the league will turn it over multiple times in this game.

Yeah that 93% completion percentage, what a slacker! Brady's 2 misfires could have cost us badly in the Jacksonville game... I can totally see why this analyst feels that Brady is going to have a bad game, after the (record-setting) egg that Brady laid vs JAX.

Re: Adam Schein : "Brady Will Turn The Ball Over AT LEAST Twice"

Chargers force nearly 3 a game and have the most takeways in the league by a wide margin, so this isn't really a terribly insightful prediction.

I bet they have forced at least 2 per game in most of their games.
