Once again Alamo has come through for us this year by doing the predict the score contest. Not only has he done the contest but he has, as ususal, done a great job.

This must take a lot of work on his part to do this for us. Hopefully he will have to do this chore for one more game after this week.

I personally want to say "thanks Alamo", and let him know how much I appreciate his efforts.

I'm everyone else does too.

I thought you were talking about THE Alamo in the title of the thread. LOL!

I agree. Thanks a lot!

I'm sure that many do aprreciate his efforts.

Job well done, it was good to see how everyone did every week

Thanks Alamo, you help make the season even more fun.

It must be a lot of work. Thanks a lot.

Really appreciated, thanks so much!

I love Alamo's contest even thought I bite at it.
It must be a huge time commitment. His witty commentary is also well appreciated.
Thanks, Alamo!

Kudo's he has done a great job.. nice diversion.

Thanks for the kind words!

It's a lot of work but over time I've worked out ways to make it easier and more manageable... a very good thing since participation close to doubled this year. The hardest part in some ways is the commentary, since just posting the numbers isn't very exciting.

And it's definitely fun... though I can't see how much more fun *this* season so far could be :)

By the way... I should pass on some of the kudos to AndyJohnson, who came up with the idea for this contest at the start of the 2005 season. Unfortunately he probably expected about 10 people to participate and didn't realize what he was getting himself into, so I took over for him in week 2.
Thanks Andy!

I am a little hurt, though, that apparently noone has figured out (or acknowledged at least) that my signature is "Predict the Score!" translated into Latin (as best as my Latin skills allow, anyway).
That took me a while to figure out :D

Thanks for the great job again.

Most people who try to read my hand writing think it's in Latin.:D

indeed--numerical divination--although I don't participate, I certainly recognize your valuable contribution to the Patsfans.com

good stuff!

As a Boston Latin alumnus, I should have surmised that your sig was related to the "Predict the Score" Contest or, as the Romans might have said, "Praedice Numerum" Contentio.

grazie Alamo : well done, as usual
