If the facts pan out like it seems, and the girl hurt her finger or w/e, does this impact the Patriots in resigning Randy Moss?

I really hope it doesn't, but if facts come out that Randy lied, and Washington's allegations are true, then it would not surprise me to see him go.

Why? As long as he can catch a football and run with it, who cares?

I am surprised they let him stay on the team.

No. I'll be pissed if they don't lock up Moss for a few more years.

If she sprained her finger? Hell no...

As we approach the off-season a little vocab review.

re-signing = coming back
resigning = not coming back

The hyphen matters.

The only thing I can see here is if he's not guilty he might be very pleased with how the team and coach rallied behind him. Bruschi called him family, Faulk called him a brother, and Belichick says he's behind him 100%. He might take that into account when it's time to consider where he wants to be.

Since resigning makes no sense in context, I think the intent was clear Mr. I'm Going to Hijack a Thread to Show How Smart I Am.

A member-run grocery store built in a former chicken house = co-op coop

I just read this post and the responses and I am saying to myself -- WHAT????

This is a non-issue. The only issue is whether we can afford to pay the price that Moss deserves for bringing us to 2 games away from the SB.

Please stop this nonsense.

wtf he's resigning over this?????????

It is a non-issue if he not battered the woman. Otherise, remember Christian Peter. Think of what matters most to Myra Kraft.

Her finger is hurt. Even if they courts decide to trump that up to "battery" I doubt seriously anyone in the organization will see it that way. I would think most women don't think too highly of someone with a hurt finger calling battery. These types of accusations are a contributing factor to why legitimate cases get mishandled. It's a crying shame.

Ty Law was caught trafficking drugs, Rodney Harrison taking HGH. It's a big difference between a superstar and a 5th round draft pick.

Mine was sarcasm for the record.

Actually this is just icing on the cake for Randy.
I've always felt that Randy will re sign with us.
He just loves it here. And everybody loves him to be here.
First year and he not only breaks the receiving td record
but he also helped Tom break the QB record for tds.
As amazing this year has been for us fans think how it is for Randy.
I mean from the slums of the NFL to the palace and being a large part of adding to it's gleam. Bonding with the best qb in the league to go even further.
Yup. Randy is staying.
The FO WILL make this work.

I don't think anything will come of this, the claim by her seems weak and Randy just had the best year of his career, your talking zero impact. Now, if he did hit or beat her, the Pats may let him go after the SB, then he'll get a huge payday somewhere else.
