I enjoyed last week's discussion of nourishment during the game, thought we should do it again.

For me, Buffalo Wings, Boston Marathon Chili (made with pork and stew beef), chips, salsa, and several Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA, in honor of the 60 Minute Men.

Probably lots of hot chocolate inside the game.

XL Buffalo Tenders order from 99 as usual. :rocker:

Then I'll get a large fountain soda from Taco Bell/BK to go along with it during the game.

I've gotten bored with the "normal" stuff. Was thinking of bringing my cast iron griddle pan and placing on top of the grill to do eggs, bacon, sausage, etc, etc.

Hmmm. Don't know yet. If we win it'll be over around 3:30 for me (CA time) so I'll head out to get something to celebrate. The next day I've promised Philly Cheesteaks for breakfast for my non Patriot football fans at work - I'm trying to make them Patriots fans by bringing goodies in when we win big games - they'll be rooting for us this week with visions of the Cheesteaks for breakfast the next day :)

Ya, If anyone can come up with something new and good please let us all know. Much appreciated.

I'm dying to do a breakfast for a game, but I keep getting poo-poo'd. It won't be for this game, but I will do it next year. Consequences be damned!

Home made hot wings for lunch, then salt and vinegar chips and some Mountain Dew Game Fuel during the game.

Pork Tenderloin kabob. Awesome. It's usually located next to the steak back by the meat dept. Cut it up into good size squares - like a kabob size. Then marinate in Italian Salad dressing. NOt creamy italian and not that light ****. You can also marinate your veggies in it too. Peppers, mushrooms, onions, whatever. Then put it together and throw it on the grille. It's nicely complimented by white rice. Devine...

My father in law and I are splitting a white castle crave case (w/ cheese) and a 12 pack of sam adams winter lager

I've done pancakes before and one other in our party once brought french toast!. This time around though, spicy buffalo chicken, New Orleans style shrimp turkey stew, wine beer cognac and bourbon. It's a work in progress so this is only the start

NICE! Mom just called and she picked up some 2" thick Porterhouse steaks from Stew Leonard's. Definitely doing some salted baked potatoes, fried onions & 'shrooms. It pays to bring mom along tailgating every now and then, she always takes care of us! Some Sam Light, a little Maker's and a cigar or two makes for a damn nice starter.

You stole my thread idea. :p

-Having good old fashioned, unhealthy and fatty Chinese takeout.

Went all out last week, going to throw something huge if we take care of business and advance to the SB. I'm talking all kinds of junk food, heroes, hot food, some Italian, loads of stuff.

given the temperature, we'll probably do something that can be mostly prepped ahead of time and will require little fuss in the parking lot.

I'm thinking chicken/chorizo gumbo (made at home and heated up on site), beef tenderloin (rubbed and tied at home and thrown on the grill on site), home fries (head started at home and finished on site).

i don't imagine you can keep salsa unfrozen in those temps, can you?

GREAT POST BY THE WAY!
For me it will be HOT BUFFALO WINGS, Trailer Park NACHOS (Tostitos Scoops filled with Taco Meat, Cheddar Cheese, Diced Jalapenos, and Guacamole, then to make them Trailer Park you zap em in the micro for like 40 secs.) forget the oven! A few dryroasted peanuts, some Jack Links Original Jerky, and my best pal: ICE COLD BUD LIGHT DRUNKEN FROM MY 32oz. PATRIOTS SUPERBOWL CRYSTAL MUG! Yeah Baby!

You know what they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. (Didn't mean to steal it)
