Moss' Legal Team: Woman Victim of "Consensual Horseplay"

Makes perfect sense to me: Randy's a thoroughbred athlete, she's a perky filly from the South, they were horsing around and she came up lame. Maybe she got a charlie horse? Good thing we're not playing the Colts or Broncos this weekend or things would be really complicated.

Combined with the fact that she doesn't have medical coverage - it makes sense that she felt Randy could easily pay for it and by her not being able to pay for it herself, she felt he was "denying" her medical attention. Like RM said, "she has a car", she can drive herself to the hospital - well maybe she can't pay for whatever she needs.

She wants $500,000....with apparently nothing visibly wrong with her according to her neighbors from a Herald article....any ideas what she needs?

I watched a tv segment where Ben Watson's wife interviews Randy, I beleive from earlier this season, where he says something to the effect of "I'm a family man...I'm not married but I have a few kids that I'm trying to raise right". It stuck in my mind for obvious reasons...not judging just saying it's funny to hear it said that way. So unless he got married recently I think someone is reporting the wrong stuffs

Well apparently these two were pretty friendly with one another...maybe too friendly.....

Basically what I suspected from the start..they were "Fooling around", she hurt her hand somehow..probably wanted to go to the hospital and have Moss take care of bill, he didnt, and she took it form there.

The fact that no charges were pressed and there was no police investigation all but confirms that there really was no battery, or obvious physical harm done, not to mention she was definetely not traumatized.

I saw these same exact comments made toward non-Atlanta fans during the Micheal Vick scandal.

'YO BIG MIKEY GOT MONEY, HE AINT CARE WATCHU THINK, GARBBLE GARRBLE'

You basically stated that if Randy were having an affair, you don't approve. My question to you is why you think it matters? Bill Belichik's affair was widely publicized. Have you voiced your disapproval on that yet?

The point is Disco's approval or disapproval doesn't mean anything to any of us.

OT, but just thinking...

Isn't it funny how every detail of Brady's lovelife is headline material, while here we are at the AFCG and nobody even knows whether Randy Moss is married?

I guess the moral for professional athletes who genuinely want privacy is: date women who aren't famous.

Speaking on the behalf of the board is immature, also it does mean something to you.

The fact that I’ve gotten you to respond 4 times, shows you are concerned with my opinion and shocked at my disapproval of the thought of a star playing on our team having an affair. You will once again respond to this telling me how you don't care, yet caring enough to tell me. Right.

If the man had an affair (which has not even been hinted at), what's the big deal?

On the reverse though, your views stopped having value after this post. Keep hands inside the cart at all times and try again next time.

And, I might add, that over on the Planet Randy's kids' grandfather is a poster. He said [paraphrasing] (A) Randy has told his family his side of the story, (B) they are as shocked as he is by what's going on, and (C) they don't think he's in the wrong here.

Given all of that--and BB's support--I don't see any reason to lambast Moss here.

I'm not going to blindly approve of any action just because the person happens to wear the Patriots logo on Sunday.

I will support Randy through this but I will not approve of these actions if true. Not even hinted at? What the hell else is supposed to be made out of "Consensual Horseplay" at a random females house. Please...

I have no clue what happened, and would love for this to really just be, horseplay.

Ah, some people have open relationships. There's cheating, and then there's getting it on. We don't know what to think.

It's a joke for anyone here to judge her or Randy at this point. Disco, you assume it was sexual horseplay, at this point, nothings concrete,

We have no idea what the details are concerning the actual incident, which could be as simple as a loving shove or as bad as ......... What seriously, everyone admits there was no crime !

As far as him having an affair, that's between him and his pissed off wife, if he's married which no one seems to know for sure. Honestly, I think that's the best part, no one seems to know for sure if he's married, but everyone knows enough to make judgement calls, or tell us what they think if this and if that, I miss talking about football !

I noticed yesterday, PatsDeb started a thread on the Pat offense, what 5 or 6 hits ?? How many do we have concerning Moss ??

BrianPat, I agree with every point you've made! Patsfans.com members have shown a love of gossip I never knew existed. Personally, I've never, ever had any interest in gossip, gossip magazines, celebrity shows or reality TV. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that those of us who enjoy these things have probably enjoyed engaging in the Moss gossip as well.

I could not believe some of our members took it upon themselves to make phone calls at 1am to do their own "Investigating". They were the epitomy of gossip mongers.

Maybe Randy was just more than she could handle, if you get what I mean.

But there is nothing to "approve". That is the point that you are missing.

I can say for certain that there have been dozens of times that I had "consentual horseplay" with female friends when we were strictly platonic.

You have absolutely nothing to base your opinion on.

It is just like on Felger's show yesterday when he tried to insinuate that Moss is to blame for this (which he may be but we don't know yet). Curran countered with the best line: "You can avoid everything if you never leave your house."

You are jumping to conclusions.

I posted this at another forum but thought it needed to be said. Randy is not
married to the mother of his 4 children. Libby and the four kids live in Charlotte. He does not live with them. I do not know if they are still together. But he is not a married man.

Are we seriously disputing whether these two had a sexual relationship?

There was no doubt about that after Randy's press conference yesterday. Come on. Please.

You think "consensual horseplay" might not mean sex? Like what? They were playing one on one basketball or twister? Nobody says "consensual horseplay" to mean something that is not sex. Otherwise they'd just say "horseplay."

There's never any reason to say "consensual" unless you're talking about sex. Forcing someone to go bowling with you is not a big deal.

I don't care about his love life.

Me responding to you and you responding in kind is called debate. My opinion vs. yours...and it appears more agree with mine than yours. Everyone else is telling you the same thing, but you still aren't listening.

Grow up.

I'm not saying I approve of it either, BUT, the guys is NOT married. he has four kids but is still NOT married. He can fool around with anyone he wants too. Was it ok for Tom to do it? I wish I had their talent and money and life style once in a while. A little "Tang" here and there isn't a bad thing.:D

This post has my approval.
