I don't know how this guy got this GREAT angle on it, but in this one, you can see Welker's route at the same time as Brady's fake.

The Minutemen's volleys are pretty great too!

Enjoy.

Nice video.

PERFECT angle, perfect play!

For all that we've praised Brady's acting, some Best Supporting Actor statuettes are surely due to Faulk and the left side of the line. They were still fighting for "yardage" as Brady was setting to throw. :)

Awesome! Thanks, shmessy.

While we've all heard that song after a Pats TD, can someone tell me its name and who the artist is?

I'm pretty sure that's U2. Not sure of the song name, though.

LOL, Kaczur is just standing there scratching his head looking for someone to block.

Good angle,good job .

Man, from that angle I can't believe how Kevin missed running into that ball! Talk about precision play!

Run it again this Sunday!!!

It's plays like these that make me happy to be a Patriots fan. Not only do we have the best quarterback in the world to execute them, but they take brass balls to run something like this and it seems whenever the Patriots run their own unique trick plays they work to perfection. This was a once-a-year play, and the execution couldn't have been any better, period. From the perfect height on the snap to Faulk crossing JUST in front the ball...everything that Brady did to sell it, the line blocking perfectly, and Welker finding an open seam and flagging Brady when he was open. Just a perfect play call executed perfectly.

Funny thing on that play ... look at the Jag Neal is blocking. The guy fights down the line and gets all the way to Faulk before he realizes he doesn't have the ball. Then he just sorta looks stupidly at Brady.

Fun stuff.

Thats the first thing I said too Chick. Kevin just dipped his shoulder enough so it didn't hit him. Unreal.

Other observations:

1) What a great play call for the situation. That is in the area of the field where the Pats will occasionally do the direct snap to Faulk. You can bet the Jags saw this on film.

2) Welker wasn't Brady's first read. The Jags covered the play fairly well. Only the nickle bit on the fake. The window to Welker was open for about 2 seconds and Brady made his progression quickly to fit in that window.

3) You mentioned the precision. That only works if the snap is in exactly the right spot. Koppen has snapped from the shotgun an amazing number of times and is deadly accurate. This allows Brady to get his eyes downfield quickly instead of having to readjust after tracking an errant snap. Don't think this makes a difference? Ask Dallas.

4) The OL and Faulk turned the left side of the line into a complete pileup. There aren't many times when you can honestly say that Brady would NEVER have felt any pressure...but this is one of those times. If Welker hadn't come free, Brady could have literally taken 10+ seconds to wait for someone to break clear.

Wow, that was an incredible play. The acting was superb all around, and it was just so clean! I can't believe how close the snap came to hitting Kevin! Just beautiful. This is the play I'd show to anyone who claims football isn't is sport- this was gorgeous!

Love the crowd noise when they realize Brady still has the ball.

yea, and gaffney was getting raped in the background by rashin mathis....

but hey, were new england, we dont get calls like taht...

The guy who took the vid must've had some KILLER seats for the game.
