The honesty of my 7-year-old nephew is refreshing as well. But when he throws tantrums and smarts off, just like Rivers, he's a pain in the butt.

Foley wasn't harboring a fugitive. He was drunk and had a loose woman/date/girlfriend with him who was also drunk.

And I don't think Patriot or Bengal fans should enter any discussion relating to ethics, domestic disputes or HGH.

How is riding in a car with a woman who has a warrant for her arrest, which I would assume Foley was unaware of, considered "harboring a fugitive?"

Now maybe if they were holed up inside some cheap motel with a coffee table in front of the door, I would agree with you.

I was not comparing the Bengals to the Patriots.

My first post in this thread was simply a poke at all of the Rivers bashers who think he is such a bad person. He is actually a very nice guy. Married, father of three little girls. He is just boisterous and emotional. He is very competitive and has never played on a losing team in his life. He played safety in high school before he became the starting QB. That might be where he gets his mouth from. Safeties are allowed to run their mouths and apparently blow kisses to head coaches.

That is why I tossed in the "He hasn't hit any women yet" comment. Just in fun.

Good for you. You give Foley the benefit of the doubt while claiming Moss committed an assault although the police have not issued an arrest warrant nor is there any indication that the police were ever called. Good job.:blahblah:

Well sarcasm is hard to sense when reading. Try the smilies. Nice jab at Rodney although Billick blew the kiss at him. I don't think to many people have an issue with players running their mouths on the field to other players in the heat of the moment. But yacking with the fans is stupid and it goes beyond that with the overall antics of your team.

you guys are wacky. Rivers is a trash talker. sometimes he has talked too much. He is making himself hated like a heel in wrestling. Who cares. Randy Moss has been a trouble maker for much of his career. Hes on the pats now so it is excusable. just like rivers trash talking is excusable to charger fans. We have merrimen who dances around after every positive play he does. you have seau. We have merrimen who was caught using HGH, you have Harrison. Harrison didnt blow kisses at billick but he certainly went over to him after an INT and talked trash, rivers talked trash to another qb and some fans. We have LT who does his minor TD celebration, you have welker and Moss doing theirs. Get over it. Neither team is evil. The only extra black mark the pats have is the cheating. the chargers dont have a comparison for this.

I agree yaking with the fans is stupid and I don't condone it, but the national media is making Rivers out as some bad guy. If the worst thing he does is yap at fans, and bark at Broncos players, and defend the logo on the field at Qualcomm Stadium, I don't think that is too bad.
