Sunday
Arctic assault! Temps fall through the teens in the morning. Partly sunny skies. Single digits by gametime with wind chills well below zero!!

I hope its not too cold for Brady and the boys..

I'm mostly concerned about the wind but the latest weather.com has it at 19 MPH from the West which isn't too bad and I heard E-W gets blocked better at Gillette than N-S.

Yeah same here im not worried bout the temp, what can slow us down is the wind hopefully its not too bad.

If you are a Bolts fan you would hope that they practice in a freezer all week. You would think that being in Southern Cal. all week would be a real shock going on to the field on Sunday.

Weather.com has the winds dimishing by half as day turns to night... so hopefully by the 2nd half they'll be less of a factor.

i doubt sd will be affected much by the cold. remember oakland came in here in a snowstorm and they adapted to it alot quicker than we did. i just pray that winds are not much of a factor, like i said in another thread that could be the only thing stopping us from moving the ball at will.

Anyone remember Michael Vick a few years back when he played in Chicago and b*tched out the entire game?

I would laugh my ass off if that happened to a few Chargers this weekend.

Oakland was actually the more talented team and (if my memory serves me well) wasn't nearly as cold, just snowing.

Edit: It was 25 degrees at kickoff for that game with a light wind. Big difference between that and single digits with a strong wind.

That was pathetic. I lost any respect I had for that guy during that game. He cared more about trying to stay warm on the bench than he did playing.

You've got to think the weather will be a shock to the Chargers. It'll weigh on their minds much more than the Patriots, for sure.

But it was not bitterly cold that night. Snowy, yes, but you need to remember that it seldom snows when the temps are as frigid as they're predicted to be on Sunday.

Oakland featured the short passing game, just like we do. I wouldn't worry about anything other than EXTREMELY strong wind. And, as others have noted, that will affect Noodle Arm II more than Brady.

WBZ is reporting possible 30 mph winds throughout the game.

DAMN, Arctic temps and 30 mph winds. I feel bad for every single player who will be on that field on Sunday. That wind chill is going to hurt.

I feel bad for me being there! I know, I'm lucky to go, but... damn!

I'd feel more bad for the fans. The players get to run around and be physical, and that warms you up a lot.

That's true. God bless 'em. I can't deal with that type of cold. Once my fingers and toes go numb, that's it for me.

You are a brave man P.

Thanks, but you should withhold judgement until I actually show that I have the balls to go. Right now I'm feeling like a little scaredy *****.
