Any criticism surrounding the Simpson Family Bye Week Fiesta is patently "absurd." Or, at least, that's the way Patriots QB Tom Brady -- who's quite the authority on celebrity girlfriends (see: Reid, Moynahan, Bundchen) -- put it. Speaking during his weekly appearance on WEEI, a sports radio station in Boston, Brady took up for Cowboys QB Tony Romo.

“Everybody has lives,” Brady said. “We work seven months, eight months, out of the year. You still have a life to live. On the weekends you do whatever you do to relax and rejuvenate. It’s not like they can go to the local eatery in Dallas and hang out.”

With three rings already in his possession, Brady also knows what usually separates right from wrong in these situations.

“If they caught the ball in the end zone at the end, nobody makes any mention (of the Mexico trip),” Brady said. “You alleviate a lot of criticism by winning. That’s what I’ve realized for eight years.”

I agree with Brady in that the Mexico trip had nothing to do with the Cowboys losing, but Tony Romo should have known that had they lost that it would be brought up. You'd think the guy would want to avoid post season criticism after the way he ruined everything for Dallas in their first playoff game last year.

It was ONLY brought up because of the MEDIOTS not wanting to blame the players for what happened. Seriously. It was just STUPID. The entire Cowboys team FAILED on the field. And since Simpson didn't take them all on and make them tired, blaming her is ridiculous.

unless ofcourse Romo took a bottle full of viagra with him. He must've been much more accurate and stayed upright in Mexico than he was in game with the G-men

They lost because Patrick Crayton got a case of the butter fingers.

Dunno.
Maybe she did!

Jessica Simpson didn't make Crayton slow down for a few steps as he looked back while Romo heaved him the ball in the end zone at the end of the game, only to have the ball sail over his head, despite the fact he had the corner beat by quite alot.

Anyone else miss Breers blogs. I do. I read a few articles he wrote when I was in Dallas for the Cowboys-Pats game a few months back. He was great, he had a way of writing the X and Os so anyone could get it.

They lost for a variety of reasons, not just Patrick Crayton.

And you wonder why you have no credibility.
