Today's Herald shows yet again that Callahan is nothing but a jerk.

http://falcon.heraldinteractive.com/sports/football/patriots/view.bg?articleid=1066602

When he says stuff like "This is such a lopsided matchup that Tom Brady [stats] is thinking of spending a couple of days in Mexico with Jessica Simpson, just to make it fair." he sounds like a St. Louis writer circa Super Bowl 36. Why give San Diego something for the bulletin board? Why diss a Chargers team that is undefeated since Thanksgiving? The Bolts look a lot like the Pats in 2001, when we went from 6-5 to 11-5, then clawed through the playoffs to the top of the heap. They didn't beat Indy twice by luck, they did it with talent.

Do I think the Pats will win? Yeah, of course. But let's respect a team that deserves to be here. Callahan even ridicules their fans for meeting the team at the airport. What a moron!

I don't like Callahan in print, and I don't like him on the radio. I prefer Mike and Mike. At least they talk sports, not the idiot news that D&C read every morning.

It's called being sarcastic. And it's an opinion piece.

He's needling the Chargers and their fans. Take it easy.

You goofs try to turn EVERYTHING into disrespect. You make our whole fan base looked stupid. Pretty sure people are allowed to have opinions.

Amen! Haven't listened to the show since the horrible way they handled the Sean Taylor death. He's an arrogant, self-righteous, mean-spirited oaf!
I wouldn't give him "first class" credit on anything! He's more of a coach-class jerk.

Let me see, you've taken the bait and are talking about his article, even providing a link. Good job. Not you. Callahan. That's what he was hired to do. write about Sports, provide an opinion with an edge, something people will talk about. The mere fact that he is frequently derided, on here and elsewhere, is proof positive that he is doing his job, and well.

Anyone could write PC commentary. Give me someone with something to say, with humor and bite any day over the PC crowd. Even if I disagree with it, at least it's honest.

At one pont Boston had the best sports newspaper coverage in the country. Now it's a joke. I blame the cross-over of print journalists into media personalities. These guys care more about getting themselves talked about then writing something worth talking about.

Anyway, I'm a Democrat so Callahan thinks I'm the devil.

Seriously. He thinks we are in league with Satan.

Please do not ever compare a Patriots team to those bunch of friggin whiners ever again. Thank you.

This coming from a guy who has proven himself stupid regarding Maroney numerous times?

Yes, people are allowed to have opinions. And people are allowed to voice them. AND, (here's the kicker) when they do, they are also entitled to the reactions of others to those opinions.

What's hilarious is how hypocritical you sound for knocking "AllabouttheVinces" for offering his opinion on Callahan.

I listen to Callahan every now and then, but look at the titles of the articles from the Indy Star's own jerk Bob Kravitz regarding the SD-IND matchup.

Pre-game: "This time, Chargers are in over their heads"

http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080109/COLUMNISTS01/80109010/1034/COLUMNISTS01

Post-game: "The end was sudden but not surprising"

http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080114/COLUMNISTS01/801140393/1034/COLUMNISTS01

I've heard through several media outlets that the Chargers had used the pre-game article as bulletin board material.

I know this is slightly off topic, but it's kind of funny to see the massive flip flop in just a week's time.

Funny how you ignore the fact that I started giving maroney his due when he started playing well a longggg time ago. Let it go you stalker!

Secondly this board tries to take every single print peice that does not kiss the pat's ass and cry about it. Btw your first paragraph pretty much validates my right to think this guy is a goof.

Good work da meltdown, dont you have some posts to go into a uncontrolled rage over?

Unfortunately for you, moron, I've never gone into a rage over anything you've posted. But you keep lying to yourself. You're good at that.

OH, and while you've changed your tune on Maroney, you've never said you were WRONG.

BTW, my second paragraph, not my first, validates your right to think whatever you want. That doesn't make you intelligent, smart or even knowledgable. I've never said you weren't entitled to your opinion. But it doesn't preclude you from the reactions that occur from you voicing your opinion.

Dabruinz its pretty obvious you are a very insecure man. Look how you project this tough guy know it all image over the net.You take things to heart , poor baby. Its funny to read!

I have infact said I was wrong about Maroney , and you are infact still a meatball. Look it up jerky.

Oh btw MELTDOWN once again by "da anger issues"

Callahan is just writing like a fan. No big deal.
Of all the Pats games this year this one should be one of, if not the easiest.
They are completely outmatched.

The Patriots will not be had except by an elite team, that which there may be none left. Maybe green bay. The toughest Pats games are over. The season is on cruise control til the end, the patriots could all fall asleep behind the wheel and not crash.

Danny88 - Why do you keep showing everyone how much of an idiot you are? There is no tough guy know it all image. I have facts. And if I misinterpret those facts and am shown where I misinterpret them, I admit to being wrong. That is hardly the work of an insecure person. But, you've already proven that your ability to evaluate others is nearly depressingly lacking.

BTW, "in fact" is 2 words, not one. As for you saying you were wrong, sure you did. Why don't you provide the link?

As I said, there's been no meltdown. You don't have that affect on me. Its laughable that you think you do. I guess when someone is as egotistical as you are, you will believe anything you post.
