Moss hasn't faced a guy like this

Keep in mind that he started week 10 and already has 11 interceptions. Also, this is only his second year in the NFL and he's already this good. He'll master all of the intangibles in the coming years but for right now he's good enough to cover Moss since Brady just tosses it up deep and Moss outruns the defender to score a touchdown. The difference is that Cromartie will not be burned.

Thank you for showing yourself to be stupid. Brady doesn't just toss it up deep to let Moss outrun the defenders. In fact, if you had actually watched a game, you'd know that Brady has been able to thread the needle on passes to Moss.

BTW, Why do you stfu and ask the Jaguars how shutting Moss down helped them?

You expect him to seamlessly transition from one side of the field to the other? A lot of cornerbacks ***** about such moves.

Wayne still finished the game with 70+ yards receiving, that's not a "great job" by the second coming of Night Train.

And I love the pic you've posted to prove he can leap buildings in single bounds as he has a helping hand from behind.

He wasn't lifting him up, he was patting him on the butt. If you don't believe he can jump that high, check out this other picture of him in a practice last year:

Yea, he did. Did you forget that Tom Brady threw 3 interceptions in that game. We owned your offense but made some boneheaded plays at the end which gave you the win.

So you didn't actually watch the game. How many ints did Jammer have? None you say? Hmm.. In fact, the 3 picks were to Drayton Florence, Marlon McCree and Donnie Edwards.

In the meanwhile, Reche Caldwell torched Jammer for a 49 yard bomb. The Pats have Moss, Gaffney, Welker, Watson, and Stallworth. Sorry, but the Chargers aren't that good.

I've watched more Patriots games than any other team besides the Chargers this season and Brady just throws it up to Moss on the deep routes and Moss outruns the defenders or shoves them out of the way to catch the ball like he did in the Dolphins game. Brady does not "thread the needle" on deep passes because he's inaccurate on the deep passes. Moss just makes up for Brady's inaccuracies through his physical skills. Cromartie will take advantage of Brady's weaknesses.

Cromartie only gets picks from average QBs.

Brady is not kitna, VY, culpepper, manning and whoever was throwing for KC and Houston

Ha! now manning is an "average" QB?!

keep the excuses coming!

Antonio Cromartie. He's a freakishly gifted specimen at the cb position. He can also throw a football 80 yards, which just shows how physically gifted the guy is.

LMAO!!! Yeah, that's what you need to cover Moss, a DB with a strong arm...

BTW, your photo captions are priceless!! Homerism to the max...

Look at how high he can jump:

Sorry Manning, you aren't going to complete a pass on me:

You must have been suicidal after last year's playoff game. Have to admit though, you're a true fan....

Why do you think Brady threw those 3 interceptions while passing to the receivers that Jammer wasn't covering? He was afraid of throwing to Jammer so he threw to other receivers and got intercepted. Everyone who knows the Chargers know that Jammer is a shutdown corner. Check out his season stats. He's given up the least amount of yards of all the starting corners in the league.

That loss hurt bad. But, no one gave us a chance against the Colts and we beat them. I'll admit though, NE is the toughest team the Chargers will probably ever face.

more like NE "was" the toghest team Chargers ever faced after once again getting smoked at the Razor in the same season, this time 42-13

Works both ways.

Cromartie has never faced a guy like Moss.

Forget about covering Moss with one DB.

He wasn't lifting him up, he was patting him on the butt. If you don't believe he can jump that high, check out this other picture of him in a practice last year:

Cromartie has a 38 inch vertical? So what? Ellis Hobbs has a 42 inch vertical.

Why don't you stop ballwashing cromartie for a second and realize a few things:

1) The Pats receiving corps consists of Moss, Stallworth, Welker, Gaffney, Watson, and K. Faulk. All of them equally as deadly. Cromartie is one man. He can't cover all of those guys. And if you think he can handle Moss on an Island, you are having wet dreams.

2) Who has Cromartie gone up against in the last 8 weeks? Peyton Manning, Vince Young, Jamarcus Russell, Jay Cutler, Jon Kitna, Damon Huard, Tyler Thigpen, and Kyle Boller. One good QB in 8 weeks. Should I be impressed? I'm not. Not to mention that the Colts were really the only team there that has an even half decent passing game.

Cromartie is a good young player. But you need to get a clue and realize that one good player doesn't make an entire team.

Are you STUPID?

Jammer is NOT a shut-down corner. And the passes were interceptions because they were bad passes. Jammer is the one that Caldwell beat for the 49 yard bomb.

Why don't you post the link to these supposed stats of yours. I mean, I see a guy with 10 passes defensed? Is that supposed to be impressive? And please don't tell me that people didn't throw at him. They did. The Pats sure as hell did in the 1st game.

8 INT's through 17 games ....yet he is going to throw 4 to the Classy Chargers?

Sha ...ya no what ......unh uh!

He did a great job covering Reggie Wayne both times we played the Colts this year, and will probably be moved to the left side to cover Moss. We won't come with the same game plan we did in week 2. This time Moss will match up against Cromartie.

First game against Wayne, he gave up 140 yards. How is that good?

OH, btw, Moss HAS regularly faced guys as good and BETTER than Cromartie over his 9 year career. Cromartie hasn't faced a QB as good as Brady, except once. And, well, Cromartie (and the entire San Diego defense) got torched.

Actually, Cromartie's verticle leap is 46 inches. That picture doesn't demonstrate his full leaping ability but it gives you just a taste. Also, Cromartie is 6'3" inches and has long arms so that gives him an extra advantage over the typical 5'10 corners.

Do you forget that over the last 8 weeks, we have the best overall defense? Our players have just gotten used to the new defensive coordinator and are playing good in all areas. Your team has a lot of good receivers, although all of them are not equally gifted as you claim. Moss is clearly the best receiver in the league and Welker is the second best, Stallworth is the 3rd best.

There are no corners in the league today that are as physically gifted as Cromartie. Even Deion Sanders said that he's a freakishly gifted corner and that's coming from the best corner in NFL history.

He got most of those yards on comeback routes and slant routes in the middle where Cromartie left it up to the safeties to cover him. Cromartie got 3 interceptions while covering Wayne. I don't know about you but I'll take that any day over 0 interceptions and less than 100 yards.
