Smith had a ton of carries in college, so his declaring early was the intelligent decision. The fact that he's already carried the rock a number of times is something to think about if you're scouting him though.

Justin King - CB- PSU declared. This guy is only 3 yrs out of high school. He was one of the top recruits in the country. Hasn't lived up to the hype at PSU. But, I'll bet he runs sub 4.4 on PSU pro-day. I think he will improve greatly with work on his technique. Can probably return kicks until he improves as a cb.
If he's there with Oakland's 3rd rounder. I'd take him. I want a pass-rusher and a cb in the top 2 rounds. Then another cb for depth to push E.Hobbs. I have no inside knowledge of his situation as PSU. I have a gut feeling he wasn't happy with the coaching he was getting and figured get the hell out while he's healthy. Scouts won't be pleased when they see some of his film this year. But, I think he's a work in progress.

I go to Penn State and I would be really pleased if the pats took him in a later round. Your analysis is pretty spot on, he has all the physical tools to dominate in the pros. 6' 190 and runs approx. 4.32 40 yard time. Deffinately needs some work like you said but those are triangle numbers for a corner!
