I'm going to go with his offensive line for not giving him more time on that last failed 4th down conversion.

Probably Marvin Harrison...

Also, I'm Canada's #1 Pats fan. You're welcome to the name, but just so you know... :D

That Defensive line. Got owned by Turner and Sproles and couldn't get after Billy Volek?!?!

Speaking of Canada, I'm sure Peyton wishes that drunk idiot kicker was still around to blame.

That said, as much as I was rooting for the Chargers today, this may be shaping up to be a "careful what you wish for" sort of thing.

Except many were wishing for the Colts.

The sound system. Not loud enough. Lucas Oil will remedy that. And who's Lucas anyhow, some Indy millionaire who made it big with half a dozen stripper wells.

all joking aside, if he throws anyone under the bus, it is going to be the defense for not being able to make a stop.

The refs. Even they choked for the Colts when it counted today.

He really has nowhere to look but in the mirror.

He had a ticket to the AFCCG on his right arm twice in the fourth quarter and couldn't get it done.

Every pass in the regular season, every record, every commercial endorsement, every accolade is for that moment.

It really really makes you appreciate what the Patriots have been able to achieve. The Colts loss today, perhaps more than anything else, just absolutely drives home how incredibly hard it is not just to win the super bowl, but simply to get to the NFL's final four.

In the Peyton Manning era, the Colts are 7-7 in the playoffs, with two conference championship appearances, one conference title, and one super bowl title. The reality is that as a fan, unless the Patriots are your measuring stick, that's pretty darned good for a nine year stretch. Pats are just in a different universe.

That said, as much as I was rooting for the Chargers today, this may be shaping up to be a "careful what you wish for" sort of thing.

Clearly he has to blame Harrison.
Wayne should be blamed for getting injured on the late drive.

You have to feel bad for Payton. It was as if he only had Reche Caldwell, Troy Brown and Jabar Gaffney for his recievers.

24 points in a playoff game in the AFC does not = a win. They will blame the D but thats not it

One could also argue for Dallas Clark - that last ditch effort that Clark dropped and then how Clark tried to petition the refs for a call, any call but to no avail. Now maybe that little puke in the commercial won't be whispering in the hallway for Manning to throw to Clark.

A little off topic, but thinking about the irony of that "clutch" gatoraide comercial with Payton makes me laugh every time it comes on. Have you ever seen a less clutch player being premoted as such. He's never been good in the playoffs, not even last year and people see this guy as cutch. Just makes me laugh.

Its funny how there were a couple of plays where the DB didn't even touch the receiver yet they still look over to the refs for a call. They're probably so used to seeing the ref throw the flag at any contact they figure all they have to do is pretend there was.

Did Manning have a press conference yet? I guess he's not allowed to after loses any more. We'll just have to wait until the pro-bowl to hear his thoughts.
