ok, a few weeks ago i talked trash on lomo, i think i said that he should be much better as a second year player, and i said a few other things as well. i've come around lately, but the kid has made a complete believer out of me in the last few games.

i have never been down on Lomo. he is fast, elusive, and oh fast. and we havent given him much space to operate in until recently.

that said (here we go), my buddies and i (in section 239) laugh constantly at his Yards After Contact stats. we call it Inches After Contact. (pls try to remember Corey Dillon for a sec) the running joke is if nobody touches him, he scores a touchdown. and some plays, nobody touches him!! he is that elusive and fast! but seriously, he goes down when touches.

anyway i like him and we should continue to give him the ball hopefully outside like that

I still love Faulk, But I'll eat it on Maroney. Last night, he finally ran like he has to in the NFL. He seemed to be much less upright and accellerated at the right times. Great game and hope to see more of it. He could be great.

I'm right there with you. I was as down as anyone on Maroney--even after his relatively strong finish to the regular season--but he really showed me something last night. (Even though I don't think it was a coincidence he ran behind the right side of the line more than the left, and the starters on the right were together for the first time since the first week of December...) I'll take a slice, ShrewBeer.

not looking for an apology dude. eatin crow is just admitting you effed up, thats all; another word for crow pie is humble pie. i, along with everyone else, am always quick to point out when i was right on the money, so why should i not point out when i was dead wrong?
