Congratulations Pats fans for a great victory. As much as i wanted to see a Jags win, you guys really deserved it, Brady, Maroney Welker, and the entire O-Line had a fantastic game. I thought Garrard was great, and a surprising decent game by Matt Jones. I thought the Jags D could have been a little more aggressive in the second half. But there is no reason for me to be bitter about the result because they lost to one of the best teams in NFL history.

Good luck in the rest of the playoffs. Maybe we will see you again next year.:)

If you play the colts next week, make sure you guys blow them out for us Jag fans.

And then you do the same for us in the regular season next year, OK ? Beat those damn Dolts :D

Nice post....thanks. Just curious, will you be rooting for the Pats if we play SD next week? and what about the SB?

I was quite impressed with the Jags performance in the game. For a wild card team playing its second road play off game, I thought there would be many more mistakes than your team committed but to the team's credit they were very disciplined. It is a performance they definitely can build on next year.

Yes against the Chargers, i think they talk way too much for only winning one playoff game in 10 years. In the SB i will be rooting for them against GB and DAL because I am an AFC guy. I usually root for the AFC team except for last year. But not against the Giants, because my father is a Giants fan.

Congrats to the Jags on a great season. I was very impressed with Garrard, he made some amazing throws last night, has great pocket awareness and can run!!

I have never seen a QB act more like a gentleman in defeat than Garrard at his post game presser. His intelligence and leadership really shine through when you hear him speak, soft spoken with a purpose. Garrard is a big time QB with guts and a great arm. The Colt supremacy in the AFC South will end in 2008. Best of luck.

Definitely.

I haven't heard many people comment about the level of play last night. Both teams executed so well that time just kept running off the clock. Not until the last 7 minutes did the game slow down with incompletions and the like.

Before that, it was practically the fastest game in NFL history.

The level of execution from both the Jags and Patriot O was simply off the charts. Both teams only had 3 possessions in the first half as both mounted long long drives.

Garrard is a good man and gracious in defeat. Thanks for the props bro. If the Pats win the next two, then they will be the best team of all time.

I've said it before on this messageboard - - David Garrard is a WINNER.

You guys have a real gem in that Quarterback.

Yeah, Garrard really is the antithesis of Phillip "Cry Me A" Rivers. He put the final stamp of approval on Jack Del Rio's decision to cut Leftwich last night.

a big ditto on bfan's comment. it would be nice to look at the schedule in august and be able to count on you guys for a w or two against payme and company, rather than have to rely on the "usual suspects" like the steelers or chargers from other divisions for some help...

you guys are in the big leagues now...beat the colts for cryin out loud!

also, thanks for the classy comment. i wouldn't tinker with your offense very much but your d could use a dose of belichickian complexity and a lot more movement
