For the record, a number of the national analysts have remained bullish on the Colts, even as New England has mounted its assault on history. On Friday, Merril Hoge, the former Steelers ruing back now with ESPN, made us drop our coffee when he came on WFNI-1070 AM and said hat what the Colts have accomplished the past five years, winning 12 games or more every season, is more remarkable than New England's undefeated regular season.
“The one thing (going undefeated) has been done once before,” Hoge told the station.
