anyone know of anyplace to get decent stats? ive been looking for several months and have come up empty. when i look at nfl or the network sites, you only get so much. im interested in the little things like red zone stats, cornerback stats (passes thrown at them, yards gained on them, etc), and other misc stats. does anyone know if there is a place to get these, even if i have to pay for them? i know that the networks have them, as they call them out during games, beat writers have them, and i know all the nfl scouts have them.

usatoday has redzone. as for the other stuff, no idea.

footballoutsiders.com has some of these, some proprietary stats, and some interesting drive stats.

they released their cornerback stats a few weeks ago (average yards/attempt, success rate, etc)

I'm pretty sure a lot of it isn't official NFL stats.

outsiders is alright, but they use their own ranking formula, and they dont list the stats that brought them to that conclusion

where are you seeing linemen stats and the option to be a special member? i can only find rushing, passing, and receiving stats. great offensive stats though

You can see linemen stats without being a member. Just search an OL at it shows how many False Starts, Sacks allowed, & Holding calls he had.

you can see all players stats without being a member. including cb. i just clicked on players, NE, and then click the player. unfortunately, they have generic cb stats. awesome site though!

I know you can see all stats without being a member. But if you want to find out How many TDs or catches a CB allowed you have to be a member.

havent been able to find that option yet

Not everyone can register. You have to have connections to register or something like that. Which sucks. But here is something intresting from an article I read.

Hobbs was thrown at 106 times this season, ranking 13th in the NFL. Samuel was thrown at 94 times. Also, the receivers Hobbs covered scored four touchdowns. Samuel? Six TDs. There were 44 defensive backs in the league who gave up more touchdowns than Hobbs.

Moreover, of the 106 passes thrown Hobbs’ way, defenders caught 58, making quarterbacks successful 54.7 percent of the time. Samuel’s way? A success rate of 53.2 percent.

These stats came from the same site. But only special members can see them.

i had read those stats somewhere, i believe from an article quoted on this board. those are the type of stats im looking for. the one cb stat that i want to see is how many yards the wr got after the catch on the cb. im probably screwed though. thanks for the effort though.

see here for the top ones...they haven't released all the numbers. perhaps they will sell it in their book next year...or charge for it in their premium database soon
