He picked the Jags to win today, which I guess isn't suprising. Does anyone else feel though that he a lot more bitter about the Pat's success than Shula is? Because the Bears are possibly 3 games away from being knocked off their perch as "the greatest ever?" I mean, the guy is delusional, has been for some time.....his mind just isn't there....I just needed to vent on that one.

Oh yeah, M. Faulk also picked against the Pats, according to the Jags message board. Another bitter guy.....Jones-Drew is going to get chipped like Faulk did in the SB all night, in my opinion

You're going to see other people picking the Jags in this game. It's no slight, they actually believe this. I'd be more concerned if all were unanimously for the Pats. The team needs something to give them an edge, and that's exactly what the playoffs bring.

there's a reason 85' bears carried buddy ryan on their shoulders off the field after winning the super bowl.

And that's fine - I have no problem with people picking the Jags, but this guy is one of the main reasons why I can't watch ESPN on Sunday mornings. Which I used to love to do!

Ditka is turning into the white man's Mercury Morris. He needs to go coach a soccer team.

Understood. I stopped long ago. After awhile, you hear the same inane stuff, and I found myself ready to reprise Peter Finch's famous line from "Network" when I came to my senses and stopped pre-game shows altogether. It's healthier that way, and you come to realize that there's never any true insight provided that the game doesn't ultimately undo.

where are you getting ditka ? out here in sd all i'm getting is college bb, viva pinata, and that's so raven. i must have slept thru him. that would be fantastic.

He must have changed his mind, as espn.com shows he picked the pats to win today. in fact everybody on espn.com picked the pats.

Its well known secret that Ditka loves to drink. One of his picks was made while he was sober.

I got it from the Jaguar's site....

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm something fishy going on here....

Mike is a Ditkaface

I think it's a script.

They "focus grouped" having everybody say "the Pats will win by four touchdowns" and found some people would go to the mall instead of watching.

Having someone pick that bruising Jacksonville team will put fannies in the TV chairs.

Ditka and Faulk are two of the biggest tools around.....jealousy makes otherwise smart people do and say stupid things.......:D

Yeah i saw him say that 19-0 couldn't be done. TJ also said the Colt's are a better team. Nothing new. Same old crap from the same old haters.

I find a great deal of polarization among the mediums. Love'em or hate'em. You have your Jimmy Johnson's and Keyshawns on the Love'ems then you have the M Faulkers TJ and ****as on the hate'ems.

i think it's funny to see tom jackson having to talk about the pats. you can tell he hates them with a passion but he has to say something positive about them, and you can tell he's not happy to say those things.

You mean to tell me he said something positive about the Pats?
