So you are Jack Del Rio. You can't defend everybody. What poison are you going to pick tonight?

The running game.

Well, if their front 4 still does their job well he can still potentially limit that at the line of scrimmage. If the line and Maroney break through he's going to give up some yards.

Keep in mind that Moss will be double teamed so there will be someone largely uncovered.

I think Del Rio will obviously double team Moss and adopt a "bend but don't break" philosophy. Welker will obviously be a focus of attention in that scenario.

But someone who might slip under the radar screen as a pass threat is Maroney himself who, along with Kevin Faulk, I can imagine having some big yardarge as a receiver as I think the middle of the field will often be open.

I think you have to cover moss deep force more plays out of the pats and hope for a TO at some point if you don't cover randy deep properly there forcing their own offense to have to go out then and get it done constantly.

I think they challenge the Ben Watsons and the Donte Stallworths to beat them. They'll load up on Wes and Randy.

I also expect that by the fourth quarter there will be some loosening on the Randy/Wes grip due to getting their clocks cleaned by Stallworth or Gaffney or Ben.

Then it's show time.

Ah - I love it when Belichick follows my advice on game strategy!
