I am so stressed and excited it's like I'm a kid waiting for Christmas.

Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Man this is gonna be an awesome game!!!

Keys:
1. Stop running game, force Gerarrd to pass a lot.
2. Bring out the Air Force. Wide four in the first half.
3. Special teams discipline.

Do those three things, we should have a nice win. But then again, I'm not BB!!!

Me too. 3:32 AM here. I am very excited, going to eat like slob, been working out all week and can finally let loose and enjoy some good football. :rocker:

Same here. It's definitely jet lag also, but I woke up at 3:30 wide-eyed and thinking about the game.

I was just watching NFL Playbook on the NFL network, it's 4am my wife comes down, "What's up?" I'm like "I can't sleep I'm thinking about the Patriots game." Her, "Don't stress, the Patriots would want you to sleep."

I gonna try to go get some sleep.

sounds like a good wife, but as hard as some try, they just don't get it. it's not their fault, it's in our dna. for me, it's more excitement sprinkled with some stress. i'm going to have a rough night tonite. maybe my gf can help me relax.

It's 5 am and I've been up since 3:30 thinking about the game. My wife tells me to get a life, but I have one. Right now it's the Patriots. I can't help it.

Only 15 hours to go. Go Pats!

It's dark and I won't be leaving to pick up my freinds until 2PM but I want to load up the tailgating gear in the truck and leave already.

ive been so impatient waiting for the game & we're finally here..it feels like the super bowl from all the press this game is getting haha..GO PATS!

LMAO. Dude, go back to bed.

The pats have definitely been on my mind, reminds me of the 1st SB win, was thinking about how Brady must have felt that day.. later found out he took a nap on a bench with his earphones on.. I realized how different these guys really are. If I were putting on the uniform, not sure I could have slept for the past 48 hours.

3:21AM here and still anxiously waiting for tomorrow! IMO tomorrow is by far the more exciting day of the weekend between the 2 games. I know it's important for the players but I absolutely HATE the bye weeks, having to watch all the other teams play and not cheer on the best means that kickoff couldn't come any sooner HERE WE GO PATRIOTS HERE WE GO!

LMAO! Sucks for you guys. I fell asleep at 5:00 PM Friday and now woke up at 6:20 AM. So I got beyond 12 hours. I am fired up and ready to prepare for this game. Go Pats!!!

i will not sleep as the game start at h 02,00 am here...

Pat, how do you watch the game in Italy? Satellite?

yes; SKY (pay tv) will show 'alive' all play-offs (started from wild card)

i.e today: at h 22,30 today they will start with Sea at Gb; then at h 02,00 am the Pats
normally i 'hear' in original language as we have the 2 options

during the regular season Sky here in IT shows 2 games alive every week (normally a Sunday 1 pm game + Monday Night)

1 Thksgiving Game (this year was Nyj-Dal), the 2 Championships and Super Bowl also in SKY HD (normally)

10 hours until kickoff.

I am going nuts! Up since 3 AM. Already ate, ran, ate again. I guess I'll shower and then go out and buy some gloves. This day cannot go fast enough but it is already D R A G G I N G.

Have we been punched in the mouth yet? Just checking.

I am excited, but nothing like when we played the Jags for the AFCCG in January of 1997. All I can say to young or new fans is that a large part of what makes this team special was enduring years of no-shows, and then finally getting to the dance with an outside shot of winning it.

Yes, ultimate defeat did sting later, but it also added needed perspective and experience about how damned hard it is to be the best.

For that matter, so did the loss to the Bears. And for that matter I can't say that I've ever been so jacked up for a run or game as that one. That was the first. That was a special experience, and again, the loss provided needed perspective. Now we're on the other side of that fence. We are now the Bears plus.

And how would you know what the Bears plus were unless you knew the Bears directly? It was a good experience and it makes today's game even sweeter. Ask John Elway how sweet his losses made it when his owner finally handed him the Lombardi trophy and said, "This one is for John". Could that moment have been that moment without the losses?

Not sleepless yet - although when I woke up at 6am and thought of the game I knew I wasn't getting back to sleep :)

Didn't realize how amped up I am for this game. Not nervous, jus want to see some Patriots FOOTBALL! Was working on the house until 1AM, took until around 3AM to fall asleep, woke up at 4:30 AM and couldn't get back to sleep. Gave up trying at 7. Reading and re-reading every thread I can on the Pats to avoid working on the house, but probably should just get to it after I put the Patriots flag on the flag pole.....
