"They're going to hit them in the mouth!"

Stop saying this! ;)

Putting "a" before a player's name.

For example: "It's a lot easier if you have a Tom Brady taking the snaps."

SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!

"World Champion Indianapolis Colts"

"They didn't respect us."

"He's classy."

Well, it's more announcer specific than in general.

-Gumble saying "period" instead of quarter

-Simms saying "eeem" instead of "him"

-Tony Kornheiser...'nuff said

Other than that no phrase really bugs me.

"classless"

If I wanted to watch a "classiness" competition, I'd be posting on a Boston Ballet messageboard.

Maroney's made of glass.

He was "dissn' me":D
"some day I wanna be a wide receiver!" from the more than happy tight-end;)

"I hate the New England Patriots" actually that one's my favorite:D

Definitely has to be "they didn't win that game, the other team lost"

Ha-Ha so true.
For me it's " They are better then what their record indicate" and of course "blueprint".

"Hostile environment" like they were space travelling or something.

"It'll all come down to who makes the better half-time adjustments"

"He's all over the field"

"He just has a nose for the football"...like it has some sort of scent

"Hoo Rah"....sorry, that was scent of a woman

I hate this damn term that's used so much it makes me sick.

"Swagger"

"Yeah I feel our team has found it's swagger"....................

Please give me a break with that crap............Oh Yeah the Jags have used it already.

Another one is "It's our destiny"

My least favorite phrase is actually the word "football".

Pregame show guys and announcers are always saying "football team", instead of just "team"; "football field" instead of just "field"; "football player" instead of just "player"; "football game" instead of just "game"; and others I'm probably forgetting right now.

Once you start noticing it, it'll drive you crazy.

"unless you are a professional football player or 23 you probably aren't going to have rock hard abs." - Peyton Manning , uh ok Peyton...

My signature.

"system quater back"

I HATE baseball terminology used in football. "He can throw the homerun ball." Makes me want to strangle whoever says it.
