If anyone has watched him this year you will realize that he is extremely overated. He can't shed blocks and doesn't tackle with any force. He is a good coverage LB with good sideline to sideline speed but can't shed blocks or make any solo tackles. As a fan of a big ten team I can tell you this guy is no where near guys like Poz, Hawk, and Dan Connor this year. I really hope the pats pass on this guy in te draft.

hit it on the spot. he has NO POP in his tackles, hes the 1 going back usually and he cant shed blockers. Very disappointed by him today as i thought a guy 240lbs with 4.5 speed would be a lot better. He cant shed blockers in a 4-3..how can we expect him to do so in a 3-4 where he'll be taking more people on?

Considering two years ago Bush, Leinart and Young looked awesome in the champship game.. I'm going to hold my comments on the play of this guy..

I didn't think that he looked all that good either.

How long until the national media stop sending these Big Ten schoold into bowl games that they clearly are not qualified for.

The team that beat Ohio St, got absolutely hosed by USC.

Ohio ST, was spotted 10 points, and still got blown out.

I liked Chevais Jackson, I really like ALi Highsmith the LSU OLB. The SEC has so much more talent than any other league in the country, no wonder why BB litters his roster with 13 SEC guys.

I didn't think his coverage was that good either. He couldn't keep up with the TE a few times.

Highsmith is a good player, but he's to small to play LB for NE.

Guys don't put too much wieght in this one game. Players need to be judged on teh entire body of work. A couple of thoughts:

After the second series the OSU DL was simply dominated badly by an average at best LSU OL. When the DL is not doing their job properly, the MLB has a difficult time to say the least.

Also Gholston had a dud of a game as well. Once the LSU tackles got their hands on him, it was over. HE looked very porous in the running game as well.

CB Jenkins looked bad too. He had a gift pick when the LSU receiver broke the wrong way, but he also gave up the early TD on a crossing route. LSU showed him no respect and threw on him at will all night.

I was impressed with the two OT's for OSU in the running game. They were road grading LSU's DL back into the next parish.
