You can't return half a ticket. And honestly, the stadiums place the prices at below market value. If someone is willing to pay it, then unfortunately I don't see how this can be stopped. New England is a very affluent area with a large fan base. With only 8 regular season games at Gillette and 2 playoff games in an historic season, I really don't think this can be avoided which is unfortunate for truer fans with less money. Same thing has happened, to a lesser extent, in Fenway and now the Celtics.

Ebay essentially establishes the true vale of something for sale. If some one is willing to pay $600 forr the tickets, then they have established their value.

There is no one twisting anyone's arm to buy the tickets. Let the free market work.

well, like I said, some of us can't afford to go the games (and just moved to DC).

Bottom line is the face price of tickets is below market value. Even if they were to clamp down on this like crazy, it wouldn't mean that normal people could afford to go to the games, but rather the season ticket holders would go. I believe there's a 90,000 person waiting list....

You are going to report them? If some bonedhead is willing to pay 600 a tick why do you care? Just because you cant get ticks does not mean you should rat some guy out.

Me thinks I attended every single home game this season , and a few on the road.

Me think you are a rat fink just like everyone else moaning in this thread. I guess some posters feel if they cant get tickets people rich enough to outbid them for tickets should not be able to go to!!!! Tough cookies!!! NO reason to tell on the guy!

Sadly for you I will be at every single playoff game in my seats I bought more then a decade ago : )

Why not tell on the guy, there's plenty of real fans on the waiting list that want to USE their tickets, not use them as supplimental income. If a real fan can't use their seats, they should use the ticket exchange, safe for both parties and helps those stuck waiting. Not to mention the fact he's violating the contract of having his tickets. As a waiting list member, I don't buy tickets from brokers or ebay, even if i can afford them because I despise them, and yet I've still been to every game thanks to the good STH's who use the ticket exchange.

They don't tear tickets anymore, they scan them. Guess you haven't been to a game lately.

They reported themselves. They gave a road map to where they are sitting. I will gaurentee security will be there with Foxboros finest and "request" they leave right quick. Oh, and thier season tix are now history. :rocker:

Ebay will turn over the bidders name and account information in a heartbeat if the Patriots asked.

I would say that Danny88 would have to be worried, but the Photoshop job and correct grammar and spelling in the auction would appear to rule him out.
