I've posted some of this in different threads but I think I finally figured it out: Rivers is Leaf's little brother.

Check it out:

- they look similar
- act the same (highly immature, prone to tantrums)
- are way over rated
- both 1st round charger picks
- leaf wore #16, rivers wears #17 as if there's a sequential progression
- they both came out same year a Manning brother did

Could the Chargers be trying to hide the family connection between Rivers and Leaf, for obvious reasons?

Just look at these pics and tell me these guys arent closely related:

One guy went to the Pro Bowl over Brady and the other didn't. For that Rivers will be forever hated on Pats message boards.

like I said "- are way over rated", just like the "other guy" was drafted ahead of peyton manning

Leaf was an abomination. I don't care for Rivers, bu he will never be as bad as Leaf.

I believe Ryan Leaf's real brother is a reserve QB at Oregon. He was forced into action when Dixon went down and managed to bring a top 5 team to look like a fringe top 60 team against Arizona on a national televised game. The elder was on the sidelines. A coach in Texas.

You forgot

Heh. But you must admit they are merely pretenders in the azzhole department compared to Uncle Bill..

i can add a few differences

- one has on field/sideline blowups but never in the locker room with the press like the other one

- one has a 26-8 lifetime w/l record and his name doesn't end in eaf.

they both look goofy as hell though, i concede that

Here's a little note about Ryan Leaf. Currently he's the offensive coordinator or QB coach at West Texas, an NCAA Division II team. Turns out Ryan got a little hot in the press box this year and punched out a window during a game.

You forgot, "Has a play-off win over..."

Oh wait...:D

That's not a game I would brag about as a Pats fan. That game was lost, and then won on a freak fumble after Brady's third interception.

This isn't college football. There is no BCS. No polls. Style points don't matter.

Drayton Florence head-butt
Macree fumble
Kaeding missed field goal
Rivers INT, fumbles, sucking, basically not being Drew Brees

All by the "Best Team in Football."
24-21 :D

Not being Drew Brees? That's a joke. Who has a better won/loss percentage? (Rivers is 26-8 now). What 14-2 team did Brees lead? Who has led their team to the playoffs every year they have started? Yeah that Drew Brees in 6 seasons sure has accomplished more than Rivers has in 2. ;)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...(uuuuuuuuuuuhhh)HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!:singing: :D

Get this folks! Phil Rivers is better than Drew Brees!:bricks:

Who's bringing the weak stuff? What Patriot team did Rivers beat? Brees beat one 41-17.

I know Rivers had never one a play-off game before Sunday. But I think Brees was 30 minutes away from the Super Bowl last year.

Weak is right. At least THINK before posting.

I would take Rivers over Brees. He manages a game better and the wins and losses prove it. The Saints were 7-9 and you are touting Brees? LMFAO!

He doesn't need the best RB in football to get to the NFC Championship game.

He's beaten the Patriots.:D

Changed your mind on how to respond? Not blaming you. Everthing you post is weak.
I'd love to see Rivers W/L % without LT.
But hey, as long as you're satisfied with Temper Tantrums on the sideline and one crappy performence after another, that'll make winning easier for the Pats.
