Tomlinson, Rivers, Dungy, Merriman, Manning.... I don't know how it could get any more classy than that.

In fact, I'm not sure if Indianapolis is big enough for all the classiness that will go down next weekend.

In any case, I predict the Colts will make easy work of SD. While still maintaining high standards of classiness, of course. The Chagers just aren't disciplined enough to deal with the pressure of playing the Colts for 60 minutes.

60 mins? i cant see em lasting 20

So, what are the chances that Marvin plays this week? And, if he doesn't, what excuse will Colts fans be making now?

I think Harrison will play.... At maybe 50%.

I'd say it's a lock marvin plays this week.

I wonder what LT will say, when not only does his team lose, but players like Merriman will no doubt be playing dirty against the Lord's team.

if harrison plays i dont think he will be that good,
if he gets a bad hit once hes probably done for the season.

Forget their excuses, they need to face facts Marvin is done, toast as in retired. As soon as they accept that and embrace that they can move on.

As for SD didn't they beat Indy earlier this year? I am not sure Indy rolls.

And what would be the probability of that happening against such a classy opponent?

Uh, we have beaten the Colts the last 3 games straight.

Um, not really.

The Chargers didn't beat them so much as the Colts completely coughed up a furball on that one. 6 INT's and 2 missed Vinatieri FG's--and SD's offense only had one TD. (The other two were on special teams.)

It was basically a preview of the Steelers-Dolphins game, except with more scoring.

I agree. He's been out for a long time. Knee problems are tough for WRs, especially old WRs.

yeah, but this last win you had over them was by no fault of your own. You have to admit that ;)

True, but that's football. They shanked a game winning field goal. I'll take the W, wouldn't you?

I'll take the W, but I wouldn't take it as "we beat them". There is a difference ;)

Hmmm...

All I know is that Indianapolis had better find a way to cut a hole in the top of their dome. Otherwise there isn't any way to fit all those egos under one roof.

Seriously, between Manning throwing his teamates under the bus whenever he scr@w's up, and LT going off on Rivers, there may be more injuries on the sidelines than on the field.

It'll be like watching to teams made up of Paris Hilton and Britney Spears clones fighting each other.

Oughta be a lot of fun :)

I don't know about you guys, but I will be genuflecting at least 100 times during this game. The fact that these two teams, composed of such holiness never encountered in the universe will be gracing our television sets (crafted by mere mortals no less!) is too much for me to handle.

*sprinkles holy water on DirecTV receiver in preparation for Sunday game*

We are not worthy. We are not WORTHY!

Why would we want to believe a lie? Marvin is far from done in the NFL.

He's actually very close to being done. The injury he has historically has resulted in players losing 12-18 mos (NFL source*). Never mind a 35 year old wide receiver who lives off his speed...stick a fork in him.
