I mean this guy was the biggest thing keeping the Titans from being able to win this game. I mean if the Titans had any offense at all they would have easily won this game!

Kerry Collins gives them a fighting chance. A JAG likely wins them the game. But no, Young clearly made up for crappy passing all day with that one nine-yard first down run in the first quarter. As far as I can tell, that is the only play he made today that a replacement-level QB wouldn't have made.

Get it over with and make him a reciever

The only thing he could ever do was run and now that he doesn't do that much anymore he is an absolute joke. When will teams learn that a QB needs to be able to read defenses and make accurate passes. Who cares if they are athletic or can run? Brady and Manning are both slow and they're the best QB's in the past 10 years and are both All timers.

Losing the game you think they would call more plays where he could run. He wasn't going to win with his passing that much was for sure.

Not saying that he is among the elite QBs in the league, but he was without his top 2 WRs. Even his top 2 WRs are not big threats, that team needs help in that position.

I'm still scratching my head as to why Fisher didn't put Collins in the game..

And Mr. Vick also, while we're at it.

...provided he comes back into the league after his sentence.
Oh, don't worry about Vick, he's not a QB anymore. He went into jail as a tight end; he'll be a wide receiver by the time he's released.

Belichick will be taking phone calls for #7.:D

Fisher tried unsuccessfully to get Turner to play his second stringers

in the second half.

Why does Eli Manning get so much flack when Vince Young blows that much worse? The Titans really do have a Super Bowl class defense and I like Fisher as a coach, but that team will never win with that meat leading the charge. I know Eli is in NYC, but if you gave me the choice between those two, I would take Eli 6 trillion times before I even thought once of taking Vince. Mr. Young has all of that of a turnip upstairs, throws an ugly ball with an ugly delivery. It's just a case of a franchise buying into the hype of a guy winning a big bowl game on the college level and not seeing how he translates to the big stage.

Bottom line in the NFL - you don't win with run first QB's. You win with smart, strong decision making pocket passers. TB is not the greatest athlete in the world. He isn't going to leap tall buildings or outsprint cheetas, but he is the best QB in the universe and most of that comes from above the neck.

I remember watching a University of Miami game in 1986 when Vinny Testaverde was their quarterback. He made a run for a touchdown where he threw off a huge defensesive end. Everyone, including the announcers, marveled. It made the highlight clips and was an element in his becoming Tampa Bay's number one pick in the draft. Though Vinny had a good pro career, what he accomplished he accomplished with his arm. Picking a quarterback by giving any weight to downfield running ability is foolish. Pocket awareness and mobility, a la Brady is something else. When was the last time a pro team picked a running back for his skill in throwing the option pass? (By the way, the Pats picked Bruce Armstrong in that draft. Armstrong, Vinny, Ron Woodson, and Cornelius Bennett were the only ones to play over 200 games, and were clearly the class of the draft.)

Vince obviously has a lot of talent and is gonna be a good QB in the NFL. He was without his top 2 WRs, top TE and 2 of his best OLs today. Not to mention he is 23 years old and in his 2nd year.....I didn't know this board was the overreactionary media, but can't say I'm too surprised either....

After his sentence? Vick may be doing some receiving in fed. prison right now.
