I think most fans understand the Branch thing now...he wanted his money and THAT was most important... I think the Pats made him a fair offer except HE wanted MORE!! Shows how much he was REALLY worth...He made some big contributions when he was here..but I will always see him as a leech...a crybaby who was making a tantrum like a 2 year old.... and a pretty pathetic human being. It's all about you DB...rot!!
Funny...if he had done what AdamV did and others..I would not feel that way..but you were a 2 year old who wanted out..a lil boy with a tantrum..THAT is most what I will remember about him.

I appreciate Deion Branch's past contributions, but the best thing he ever did was get himself traded out of town. If he's still around, a pissed-off Bill Belichick doesn't go out and get Randy Moss, Wes Welker, and Donte' Stallworth this past offseason and we don't get to see this record-breaking season. So thanks for the memories Deion, but I don't miss you one bit. ;)

Absolutely!! If we don't have all the turmoil on last years team with the receiving corp then we're not sitting here with Moss and Stallworth (think Welker would still be here, he's been on their radar screen for a couple of years) at 16 - 0. Once again the Patriots let somebody walk away and come out smelling like a rose. Think Mike Holmgren regrets that deal and the cap space brittle Deion is taking up? :D

I appreciate what he did, and I'm glad he's gone.
Branch and Brady were close. I wonder if that's still the case.

What about Givens? Patten? Caldwell?

Brady made them all.

Look at Moss breaking Rice's TD record this year.

Brady is the MVP :D

There's every sign Givens and Patten both were pretty aware of it.

Oh, they both also ascribed it in large part to their work ethics and basically well-grounded characters -- but they were also right to do so.

Givens has had some bad luck with injuries...2 years worth.....he had some off an don things here..but..

Wow. Holmgren sure got his money's worth on Branch, heh?

It's too bad everybody couldn't see this coming, but surprises are what they are.

Brady has made several receivers better, and if the receivers cannot figure that out, sayonara.

He was too hurt to play but not too hurt to start a Joey Porter/Warren Sapp type pregame incident with the Skins DB's:

"Instead of playing, Branch, wearing street clothes and a white, down Seahawks coat, entered a huddle of Redskins defensive backs during pregame warmups and traded pointed comments and gestures with them. After a heated minute, game officials and Seattle defensive backs coach Jim Mora intervened to separate Branch from trouble."
