The NFL will announce the league’s Most Valuable Player today, and many Patriots believe it should be quarterback Tom Brady.

He’s our MVP,”

That's good, because every other sane pro football cognizant person in the world thinks Brady's the MVP. This is the most one-sided MVP I can remember. Maybe a Montana year or an Elway or Peyton in 2004 came within a city block.

There is no drama here...we've known for about 2 months that he's gonna win the MVP

last year i believe LT won the vote by 44 points or 46

this year i expect brady to have a clean sweep 50-0

I hope it's not Brady Imagine how pissed he'll be and the destruction he will wreak :D

i would be surprised if Tom Brady will not be the Mvp

I expect Deion Branch to get it.

i thought there was a chance they would stiff belichick because of spygate, but there's no way they stiff brady. he had more than a career regular season. it was an "all time" regular season and he will be MVP.

I'm still hoping for Brady-Moss co-MVP.

Nope the same writer who thought Dungy was coach of the year will vote for Peyton ( after all, he had no receivers -as I roll my eyes) or Favre but it wouldn't shock me if someone or two splits their vote with R. Moss/Brady.......
prediction....
Brady 47
Moss 1
Manning/Favre 2

It should be:
Brady 25
Moss 25

Brady doesn't have the best season ever without Moss and vice-versa.

There's no way to attack this angle without bashing Randy....so, let me just apologize in advance and say that nobody was a stronger supporter of acquiring Moss....even going back two years ago when Al Davis first started to dangle him on the market.

but I'm sorry dude, there are three new receivers this year, not one. so let's stop pretending that RM single-handedly created the huge statistical spike this year.

As much as Randy has helped stretch the field (last offseason's most popular catch phrase rears it's head) and open things up, Wes is also a big part in RM breaking coverage so often (JUST GO BACK TO HIS LAST SCORE) -- this isn't the same Randy from 10 years ago with the blazing peerless speed, which isn't to say he's slow, but let's not pretend he's in his prime (he's a giraffe now -- a very smooth giraffe).

second, there are plenty of us who always believed we needed to invest in legitimate offensive weapons....this is no revelation. Tom has always turned chicken **** into chicken salad, so give him some weapons like Peyton and then watch with amusement as the media acts shocked when he has -- not just his best season ever -- but the most perfect regular season a QB HAS EVER HAD.

third, most will agree with you that it is his best year...I won't strongly disagree. But there is a minority of folks who still see 2005 and 2006 as a herculean effort to strap the team on his back and carry it all the way....It was beyond Elwayesque what he did those seasons....how soon we forget....we're numbers obsessed by nature....it's baseball country here -- we like numbers.

Believe it or not, invdividual performance in football is not easy to break into numbers.

Just don't forget how tall Tom stood last year....or the fact that he won 3 titles WITHOUT Randy....with historically crappy offensive personnel, a bend-but-don't-break defense, and a clutch kicker....THREE RINGS....in your opinion, those years weren't nearly as good as 2007.

I don't expect anyone to agree, but 2006 was still the greatest season by a QB I have ever seen....and yes, I think he absolutely deserved the MVP last year over LT....despite LT's record season.
