Fumbles.
Brady has fumbled 6 times.
Welker has fumbled 3 times.

NO ONE ELSE ON THE TEAM HAS MORE THAN 1 FUMBLE.

But here is the most amazing part:

Our RBs have had 464 touches and fumbled ONE TIME. (Faulk)

that is a great stat, thanks. I had been thinking the other day about how Faulk seemed to have lost his fumbilitis form his early days, and at teh same time I was trying to remember when the last time I saw Maroney fumble, and I couldn't. Now I know why!

Also, Faulks fumble was on a reception.
For the year we have run the ball 451 times with 2 fumbles, one by Brady, and one by cassell, with Bradys being the only fumble lost.
Think about that. All season long, every time we called a running play to a RB, we never fumbled.
I think Maroney deserves a ton of credit here, but I think the COACHING STAFF deserves an incredible amount of credit for this, among so many other things.

more;
the nfl record is losing two fumbles
the oakland raiders fumbled 42 times, yet only lost 17!
compared to that, we only fumbled 14 times and lost 6.

this is definitely a good year for fumbles

Here is another.
We scored 75 TDs, and had a COMBINED 57 PUNTS PLUS TURNOVERS.

first off we don't run much. secondly when you fall to the ground upon initial contact like LM you also limit fumbling opportunities

that is a fantastic Stat despite some trying to turn that negative.

AWESOME stat! that is friggin unbelievable!

how about the opposite?
the chiefs had 24 touchdowns ,94 punts
the niners had 24 touchdowns, 105 punts, EXCLUDING turnovers

ITS BEEN A GOOD YEAR!:rocker:

6 fumbles for Brady ? i Think thats alot. r these fumbles because of sacks and / or bad snaps ? who is getting statswise the fumble for a bad snap ?

has anybody some comparison from other qb`s ?

Go TITANS for this weekend.

We ran 451 times. That is tied for NINTH MOST, so to say we dont run much is flat out wrong.
Secondly, are you trying ot be funny or are you an idiot?
Or do you just not watch games.

Your Maroney comment is the most idiotic I have heard in months.

6 is low.
4 are on pass plays (i.e. sacks)

I havent looked up others, but that is a very low # for a QB. Remember it includes the ball getting knocked out and recovered by hit when sacked too.

Here's another one. Opposing teams only had 12 successful FGs against the Pats this year. There were a few misses (some guy for the Colts missed twice). 12 in 16 games is unbelievably low. Part of it was the poor red zone defense early in the season but also the fact that teams got so far behind that they had to go for 7 instead of 3 which I think also influenced the red zone defense numbers as teams went for it on 4th down versus taking a gimme 3, knowing that they would need all the points that they could get..

Tom, Maroney has not fumbled once in x number of touches. Try to see the goodness in that.

6 is the second least in his career. last year he had 12.

of the top 10 qbs in the league, only carson palmer and derek andersen had fewer, at 5

I hope this isn't the kiss of death.

I noticed early in the year, Faulk going into a pile with both arms wrapped and clutching the ball for dear life.

He's light on his feet and has had a problem, but he has worked harder every year and seems to have conquered it. Congrats, that's the Patriots way, keep trying to improve.

As for Maroney, that's a wow. He has a little different style than the battering rams we're used to (Dillon, Antowaine) but I think his upside is tremendous.

*Old Dillon=battering ram, career Dillon = HOF or he should be anyway*
