Send the auction info to the Patriots organization and move up the season ticket wait list when this guy gets his revoked.

You know, ever since that story broke a while back about season ticket holders selling above face having their tix revoked, most of the EBAY auctions stopped specifying what seats exactly they were selling only section and sometime row. It is an obvious attempt to protect themselves from being identified.

I share your same feelings....it's a shame and i really hope somehow he gets his tickets revoked. I haven't seen anything show up on the exchange yet, and its all because of morons like this....

The Pats should put on a sting operation to bring these bastards to the surface and revoke their tix. I have season tix already, but I would prefer that people who want tix to actually GO TO the games have them rather than these profiteers. And believe me, no one is more capitalistic and free-market minded than I am.

Check the EBay feedback and at least three refer to 'great seats' so obviously it's not the first time he;s sold tickets to a game......

I hate to say this, but the easiest thing to do is not to buy them. I realize I will probably never see a game at Gillette for the rest of my life, but I would rather sit home than sit there and pay some broker double or triple the price for their tickets. If people refused to buy from these people, they would give up their tickets faster than you can imagine since they are making no profit. I know its hard, but thats the price with being a successful franchise is leeches like these so called "fans"

Chances are if nobody reports him it will be some Steeler fan who ends up in those seats.

You realize that tickets are sold for every game of every sport in every city for more than face value right (often less)? Nothing unique about it happening with a Patriots game. Simply capitalism.

Thank you Mr Vladamir Lenin.

True but think about this. Have you seen Steeler fans? That's an awful lot of picking up aluminum cans on the Pennsylvania Turnpike and only eating ramen noodles for a year to come up with the cash for those seats only to be crushed by the Pats.

so whats the problem? at least the iceballs wont be thrown ON the field... just throw them at the squealer fans!

How can the Patriots identify the guy without seat numbers for reference?

pretty sure kraft could be high bidder, if he really cared about those 2 tickets.

Yeah, the Patriots did their Ticket Scalping P.R. campaign in mid-October with the case vs. StubHub. I think that sent a lot of season ticket holders, like myself, a message about reselling outside of the TicketExchange. This time of year, overpriced tickets aren't Kraft's biggest worry. Those are two of 65,000 tickets. Do I think it's unfair that some guy can resell his for profit and not get caught? Absolutely, cause obviously he's not a real fan. But those are two of many tickets that are resold for a astronomical price. Unless there's a way to bust a large group of these thieves, like with the StubHub case, I don't think Kraft will do anything. Not worth his time or effort.

This offer is for two tickets together for the first Patriots playoff game at Gillette Stadium, January 12 at 8 pm, the national prime time game on ABC. The seats are in the middle of section 141, which is Lower Level seating. They are close to the field with excellent sight lines. The photo is an accurate representation of the view from the seats.

Guy isn’t even aware the NFL has been off ABC for a couple years now…

Wonder if he even watches us.

nor in his best interest... as long as scalpers can make money, there will be scalpers on the waitlist... if you guaranteed that NO ONE could profit off a ticket, the 55K waitlist would be down to <10K... how many of that 55K do you think are in chicago, LA, etc (people looking to make a buck, not attend a game)? 90% is my bet.

So you think that if they eliminated scalpers, Gillette would not sell out for Pats games?

they would NOT have a 55K waitlist. do you think kraft would rather have a 5K waitlist, or a 55K waitlist? that is my point.

the pats will not be a perfect team forever... the next year we go 5-11, a 5K waitlist evaporates (mostly because scalpers cant make a buck)... it's the same with any team, in any town.

i think lots of people underestimate how many STH/waitlist members are scalpers... just look at ebay or stubhub... do you think they are fans, or profiteers? how does vivid seats in chicago have 25-100 seats available (in hand, not through eventinventory) for every game?
