O.K. 4 Games to predict,Better than trying to pick 16 games so heres my picks.....

Pittsburgh 23 Jacksonville 16 - Big Ben has a great day throwing the rock and upsets the Jags

San Diego 37 Tennessee 17 - Ladanian will have 150 yards rushing and will keep Vince Young and Co. on the sidelines

NY Giants 17 Tampa Bay 14 - This game may be a make em or break em game for Eli and coach Coughlin,Giants rebound from a bitter defeat to NE and beat TB in a tight defensive battle,Eli makes just enough good plays to keep NY alive

Washington 20 Seattle 10 - Going with the upset as Washington still plays hard for the memory of Shawn and I also think Seattle is the most overated team in the playoffs anyways,Portis with a great 125 yard rushing game,Alexander gets stuffed all game by Fletcher and Co.,Santana Moss will also get some big yards.

Your predictions?

Jax by 7, Sd by 17, Wsh by 3, Nyg by 10

Pit close
SD big
NYG close
Sea by 10

Jacksonville 27 Pittsburgh 17: The Jags are good, Pitt not so much
San Diego 30 Tennessee 10: Umm Ten sucks

New York 38 Tampa Bay 9: TB sucks, mark my words
Washington 34 Seattle 31: Skins win in a squeaker

Steelers (less than two scores--not in our house, twice)
Chargers (more than two scores--redemption for losing last year)
Giants (less than two scores--Giants roll for one week before reality sets in)
Seahawks (more than two scores--the great, emotional skins run is sadly over)

Squealers
Chaagiz
Jints
SeaHags

Steelers by less than a TD over Jax, though I'm hoping Jax wins.

SD big over Ten, karma will come back to bite the Titans after their "win" in week 17.

Washington over Seattle in a close, hard fought, and emotional game. They'll dedicate it to Sean Taylor, and then lose in the next round. Even so, it will be more than anyone expected after he was shot, and will be a testament to their coach and their team.

I seem to be in the minority of people who think the Giants are going to get beat. I say TB by at least 10. I think the Giants gave up everything they had to come close to beating us, and with the snap problems Eli has had WITH his STARTING center, just imagine what'll happen with a backup. I expect at least a few missed snaps and fumbles out of Manning. Plus, teams don't do well the week after playing the Pats, unless of course they're playing someone else in the AFC East :p

Pitt (my hope anyhow, Jaq should win)
SD
TB
Seattle

This years wild card games are one of the best ever. Usually, there's a few dog "cinderella" teams in there. I think in spite of the lines that any of these teams is capable of winning this weekend.

What would send the world off its axis..

Pittsburgh (oh my, how would ESPN react?)
Tennessee
Washington
Tampa Bay

What I think:
Pittsburgh
San Diego
Seattle
G-Men

Seattle 34-10

Pitt- 23-20

NYG- 23-13

San Diego 35-3

Washington 17-13 - High winds, heavy rain and no ground game, spells doom for the Hawks.

Pittsburgh 24-21 - Steelers slow down the running game and Garrard comes back to earth with a killer pick late in the game.

Tampa 27-17 - The Giants blew their load last week and Eli true to form comes up small in the biggest moments. Bucs cause two turnovers and Garcia has an efficient day.

SD 31-13 - Titans just don't have the offense to keep up add in a hobbled VY and Haynesworth and I think the Chargers roll big.

I'm going with the following:

Jags 24 - Steelers 17
Chargers 30 - Titans 13
Seattle 27 - Washington 17
Bucs 28 - Giants 24

I think there are too many questionable injuries on the Steelers to keep them in it. Although David Garrard in the playoffs isn't exactly a sure bet. Titans backed into the playoffs, and Seattle just doesn't lose at home. Giants looked amazing last week, but the Pats hangover will yield a few picks for Eli.

Steelers
Chargers
Seahawks
Bucs

No Willie Parker means Pittsburgh will air it out more, which is what teams should do against that Jaguars secondary (as the Pats will clearly show if Jax advances). Steelers benched Pats favorite Anthony Smith who looked awful in the Jax loss. With Pittsburgh's injuries, this was the toughest game to pick and the least shocking if it goes the other way.

Titans' offense looked awful against Indy and now is without Roydell Williams. Titans D looks great with Haynesworth 100%, but apparently he isn't close to that. When he's hurting, so is their entire D. I'll be very surprised in the Titans win this.

Washington is a popular pick, mostly thanks to their inspired D, but Seattle can play some D, too. Plus they're at home with that great crowd. This game wasn't as hard to pick as the Pitt/Jax game, but not as easy as SD/Tenn.

I think the Giants are beat up and emotionally drained after that Pats game and will suffer in their followup like Indy, Philly, Baltimore and Pittsburgh all did after facing the Pats. I feel pretty strongly about this, stronger than my Seattle pick, but not as strong as my Chargers pick.

Regards,
Chris

I must be the only one in the world who doesnt think the titans will get rolled like everyone is saying. All Haynesworth and Vandenbosch need to get is hit Rivers a few times and the game changes dramatically; Titans offensive deficiencies or not

I can see your view about the Bucs vs the Jints. Dunno why I picked against Garcia at QB whom I respect unlike Eli. We'll be in Tamper after the weekend and I hope the Bucs are still in it. They really gave us Pats fans a cold shoulder about the playoffs when in Jan '05 Floridians said the "Bucs aren't in it!" and wouldn't turn on the widescreen. Major complaints that "Tom Brady wins too much."

Jacksonville by 3, the Steelers really don't look good at all.
San Diego by 20, Tennessee are the weak link in the AFC.
Washington by 2 no reason just a feeling.
Tampa by 6 the Giants gave it all last week.

Haynesworth was healthy when he played SD the first time and was a force to be reckoned with. He's supposedly not this time around. When he's been out or severely dinged, the Titans run D drops off significantly. Tomlinson should have a field day against them if this is the case. The game should never end up in Rivers' hands.

Tennessee's big thing going for them is Fisher. Despite our opinions of the guy (especially after the Rodney incident last year), he can coach circles around Norv.

Yep, yep, yep, and yep.

Add another yep in case they throw in a fifth game and you pick it.
