Has anyone else run into problems with the Pats Pro Shop?

In December 2006, my college student son bought an online gift certificate for me from the Pro Shop. I tried to use it this December 2007 and their website ordering form wouldn't take the gift certificate. There were 3 different ways of entering gift certificate numbers and I tried them all without any luck.

I have called the Pro Shop and emailed the Pro Shop many, many times.
No one returns a call or email. No one ever picks up the phone.

The gift certificate was for $25 only. I'm not going to be poor without the $25, but it really sucks that they are ignoring basic customer service.

Has anyone else run into similar problems? Any suggestions?

isnt the pro shop gone?

My wife purchased some stuff for me before xmas. 1/2 the order didn't arrive, even though they charged us. It seemed over the xmas holidays, there was no one there, as her emails and calls went unanswered. About the 28th she finally got ahold of someone, and the worked the issue out. One thing was on backorder, and it was holding up the rest of the shipment. They immediately overnighted the rest (Randy Moss Bobble Head, cool, thanks dear!), and refunded us the $$ on the other (she won't tell me what it was, I think a polo. ) once it was clear it wasn't arriving soon.

It took some time, but they did work it out.

Uh, no. Just moved to around the corner.

(Would you seriously think the Pats would shut down their Pro Shop for a year?)

Make more calls. E-mail PFW in Progress, they always have a joke where they'll call the Pro Shop director (Ken Flanders) and he's never there.

I had a similar experience with the Pro Shop. I could not get anyone to call me back. I ended up speaking to a manager when I went to the Home Opener, and he seemed surprised that no one called me back. I am dissapointed to hear this has not gotten better.

Hmmm, I just bought my brother a gift certificate for Christmas for the Pro Shop. He hasn't used it yet, but now I'm worried. He was planning on calling in his order, so I guess we'll see what happens.........

I called for over two weeks every day and never got anyone on the line or anyone to return my messages or emails. I was inquiring about the stock of a jersey, but gave up on it and have started looking elsewhere like the NFL shop.

I've ordered a few things there and haven't had any problems.. A friend of mine ordered some stuff the first of Dec for hubby for Christmas and it still hasn't arrived... She hasn't been able to contact anyone about it and is a little PO'd and I feel bad because I gave her the website.

Anyone have the contact info for any of the higher ups in the Patriots organization?

This Pro Shop is a disgrace to an otherwise professionally run company.

The best thing at this point is to boycott The Pro Shop until the folks who run the place go public and let people know things have changed.

I ordered two T's last year, and they sent the wrong sizes. I wasn't able to get in touch with anythone either, so I have two T-shirts I can put three normal sized people into.

I will never shop there again....especially after reading this thread.:bricks:

I just was at the Pro Shop on the day of the Giants game, and they had a good stock of all of their gear, but they only had 2 lines open for checkout, and there were tons of people in the store. I suggest either going to the Pro Shop in person, or just using another place like the NFL shop.

I got a long sleeve tee last year. They shipped a 2XL. I sent it back with instructions and the money for re-shipping they asked for. 2 weeks later I called and they not only hadn't sent it out but hadn't even opened the returned package. By that time they were sold out of the shirt I had wanted, and I had to have a replacement sent. I kept the lady on the phone while she opened and processed my return.

Not the best customer service.

When is the last time any of you guys ordered an authentic jersey from the shop online? Almost am a little worried to do so seeing how you all have had the same problems there recently, not sure how long this has been going on since I've never required customer service and my orders have always went through without a hitch. Now I'm not so sure and may just do my shopping for Pats gear at outlets like Reebok/NFL shop, it would suck to get the wrong size and be left in the dark for weeks or longer.

Unfortunately, living in Northern Virginia, I can't just walk into the Pro Shop to get this worked out.

Boycotting isn't effective for me at this point because I have a gift certificate that my son paid for that I haven't been able to use.

I guess all I can do at this point is to write the Pro Shop and hope for better results.

Once I get this resolved I will never shop there again.
