Maybe they should have gotten a QB who actually runs the option to pitch their water as "the quarterback option". Perhaps "This water is so good, squirting it an official's face isn't a personal foul" (joke) or "the quarterback keeper" (more realistic) woudl have been better.

Also, TB looks like a professor in the middle of class, photoshopped into a football practice.

Keep your day job, marketing is not for you... :)

I thought he should have worn a plain grey t-shirt tucked into some blue gym shorts and asked the kids if they were "bummed about their guts". Seriously, who tucks in a shirt to gym shorts? Especially in 2 commercials? What did Peyton do, shoot 2 in the same day?

He was attempting to show off his 6 pack. The one that he laments the everyday guy will never have.

Does he do any advertisement where he . . . uh . . . actually talks?

Oh god, let's not get into a discussion about advertising. Brady has said he'd rather not deal with too many sponsors because he has better things to do, like preparing for football games. We've all seen that Manning hasn't yet found a product he won't endorse.

"Hi I'm Peyton Manning. Ladies, have you ever had that unfresh feeling?"

It's coming...

I am NOT FLAMING, but I swear at first look I thought he was opening his shirt by the way his hands are positioned!!!

I know its a small image of a big ad, but I really had to do a double take!!!

He's not that smart, you know, if he was he'd be Peyton Manning.

I think feeling the need to state "I'm not flaming" makes you more flaming than thinking that at first glance.

Women drink Smartwater, or at least they now will be.

Brady decided that taking pictures is easier, more $$$ per second.

Photographer takes one picture, cut, it's over.

Lol, no but I thought about how that sounded!

My only problem with the ad is that he's coaching. I know he's a smart QB (perhaps the smartest in the NFL, though Colts fans would surely disagree). But he's a QB, show him as a QB. I'm guessing they did it this way to get around licensing issues (I'm guessing it's big bucks to get the NFL logo on anything these days) but it just doesn't make sense to me.

you mean something with meaningful dialogue such as 'cut that meat'?

thankfully, no

You really didn't think that was funny?

Now after the 23,000th time it played, maybe not.

Honestly, I think Manning does a great job in most of his commercials, he has that simple, southern drawl and is reasonably funny. That said, when you see 25 of them during a three hour football game they get a bit...tired. Actually, they get very, very tired, to the point of being annoying.
