After recording one of the most impressive seasons in NFL history, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady won USA TODAY's NFL MVP award.
Brady led New England to the first 16-0 regular season in NFL history, and set an NFL single-season record with 50 touchdown passes.

Balloting for USA TODAY's NFL MVP award
Tom Brady 50
Brett Favre 19
LaDainian Tomlinson 12
Peyton Manning 5

the nfl needs to make their own official mvp award... it is ridiculous for every magazine/press group to have their own mvp award.

glad tom got it; there was no other option besides moss... but still, there should only be one mvp award.

The AP is the big one, but he'll win 'em all. There are a couple of other COTY awards too, will be interesting to see if they also go to Bill.

Brady will get the MVP - he deserves it. Nobody else is even close this year.

LT gets 12 votes! you must be kidding

You guys are such biased homers. The man led the league in rushing, scored 18 touchdowns and his team finished the season 10-2 based on his leadership after the entire coaching staff was turned over. If you lead the league in passing or rushing and your team won 11 games you don't deserve any votes?

USA Today huh? Oh well put it over there with the others.

Outstanding! It would be insane to give it to anyone but Brady, I think.

Do you all think Moss will win Offensive Player of the Year or Comeback Player of the Year?

Or both?

Sanvara must have a Chargers topic radar. I've never seen one post regarding the Chargers or any of their players where she doesn't show up to post something...amazing.

No but, if a player whines after ever loss like LT, by rule, you must subtract votes. :)

Roll your eyes all you want but you are incapable of coming up with one single argument that supports the fact that LT got 4 times more votes then Moss. One argument, let me see it.

This is the most hypocritical post ever. You begin your post with "you guys are such biased homers" and then proceed to emit a rather homeristic opinion. Way to go.

And you are such a complete idiot. Yes, the BIASED HOMERS are crazy for thinking 50 TD passes and a 16-0 record, and pretty much universal acknowledgment that he is MVP means that you'd have to be pretty thick to vote for anyone other than Brady. It's ALLLLL just bias and homerism.

And I suppose your Charger fandom means you have NO bias or homerism at all, right? IDIOT. Does your mother even like you?

50 points, 50 TDs. A point per TD.

Who the hell voted for Peyton Manning or Bob Sanders? Good lord!

Do the math people - Brady was the unanimous choice. All the rest of the vote getters got slotted below #1 on every ballot.

If Moss got 23 TDs for another team, he probably would have gotten a lot more votes. Votes were on a first, second and third place basis, so I imagine most of the voters picked Brady from the Pats, and then looked to other teams to complete their ballots.
