Anybody want to talk tailgates? I'm writing a story for the Globe about the extreme lengths people go to with their tailgate plans and traditions. Please write to me at [email protected] if you are willing to be interviewed. Thanks! Boston Globe Reporter Stephanie Ebbert

First we burn Ron Borges in effigy. Then we use the Boston Globe as kindling for our fires. Then we wipe our backsides with it at the porto-potty.

Go talk to the guy who dove off the bridge a few weeks back. Now that's extreme! ;)

How is that guy anyways? I never heard the outcome of that.

He's in the hospital still. He's from up here in Maine and there was an article on him in the Lewiston Sun Journal.
He was pretending to catch a pass, thought he was diving into a snowbank, didn't realize he was on a bridge and fell 20 feet.
I think he had to have his spleen removed- lucky it wasn't worse.

I'm surprised there aren't more stories of people falling on the steps in the 300 level of Gillette. Those are tricky in the best of weather.

 feel bad about laughing, but I have to agree that whatever tailgating he had done up to that point must have been very extreme to result in that type of behavior.

Probably drank so much that he thought he was being chased by Moose.

Completely just kidding! It's more of a Maine joke than making jokes about this kid. I realize how serious it was and am glad to hear he's doing well! I said a little prayer for his well being. Glad to hear it was answered.
